I seemed to have that problem as well, have you clicked the button that remembers you?

This.

Before the upgrade I used to click on the 'view new post link since my last visit', and I could pick and choose what I wanted to look at - now I have to go into each individual section of the forum, then each thread in that section, then the first post in that thread, then click on the 'first unread post'.

I then have to come out of that thread and do the same numerous times to view the new posts on a multitude of the other threads.

I am sure NWhitely and I are not the only two inconvenienced by the lack of the 'view new post' facility.

it remembers me - in that the login info is automatically entered - it just logs me off when it never used to! I have just ticked the "log me in automatically" box again - see of that makes any difference - though I think that is summat different to it logging me off. There must be a setting somewhere that logs people off after a set period of inactivity...

as I said - no problem - just an observation!

I'm finding that somewhat restrictive when you try and respond to a post that already has 3 embedded within it...

It should only be nested quotes I think.

I have increased the limit to 5.

Being a bit slow, it sometimes takes me a while to write a post. What's with the someone has written a post while you've being taking ages thingy? Can it be turned off?
Took me half hour to write this.

it doesn't stop you posting - just gives you the chance to amend what you said in the light of what a faster typer has written before you - thus avoiding some of the risk of you looking like a cock! ;-)

I re-clicked that button and it was fine today.
