If you have them all on VHS then it's very easy to copy them onto DVD.......or so I've heard.

Unfortunately Matt Taylor is unable to attend tonight so the players will be Fabrice Muamba and Jussi Jaaskelainen.
.
Get yourselves down to the Lion of Vienna Suite for 7.30pm.

I have to say that it was a great evening's entertainment, Jussi and Fab answering the questions put to them, including one to Fab about practising shooting - he claims he does- Jussi also said that if one of the big clubs comes in for Cahill, or any player, his advice would be to go as it's every players wish to play at the highest level possible, he did say we wouldn't like his answer !!! He said that Sammy Lee was the best coach he's played under but a nightmare as a manager, Megson did what he was asked to do in his first season - keep us up- but then was out of his depth and had no man management skills ( no surprise there), Owen Coyle was a delight to work with great man management skills and excellent training routines and that so far the best time since he's been there were the seasons we finished in the top 8 and qualified for Europe.
Buzz Hawkins of The Bradshaws fame was excellent although I think some of the jokes/songs were a little bit embarrassing/blue for the youngsters and their parents in the audience so perhaps any future acts could be warned that there are children present.
The turn out was also well up on previous meetings with I would estimate 3 to 4 times the normal audience size and to cap the evening I won a bottle of gin in the raffle !!! All in all a great night out.

Were all those old bids still knocking about, grumbling that they're no longer in control?

Is that power-crazy Robinson bloke still in charge?

I would love to get the 1993-1994 and 1994-1995 season reviews for my sons Christmas present (on DVD) I only found out about Tuesdays meeting today otherwise I would have gone! Could someone please give me a phone number or a proper website address address where I can order them from?

Answer to both questions is no, there were a number of the "old" brigade about, none were grumbling, the ones who had stated at the last meeting that they wouldn't be coming again didn't turn up. It was nice to see "younger" people there most were not members but many said that they would now sign up for a tenner (a seasons membership), which was excellent news.

Anyone who wants Roadrunner DVD's please send me a PM of what game(s) or compilations you want and I'll give you the temporary payment information. Sorry there's nothing concrete sorted yet but at least this way people will get them in time for Christmas.
