When was the last time we played Blackpool?

I remember going there in 98 or 99 for a preseason friendly, but I can't remember playing them competitively after 92-93 (and didn't we beat them 4 nowt at home that year, and win away?).

Scratch that, after a memory jog, I remember.

Greeny for England!

Alas, I remember it well. Trevor Sinclair was outstanding for them that evening too, as I recall.

Grrrr... How typical. They're showing United at midnight here and Bolton on recorded "live" at 2 am. Have to stay away from TW and all sports channels.

3-2 Whites of course

3-2 to the Whites. Gonna be a tricky one, indeed.

Got my ticket, I'm in the West Lower with the resident coffin-dodgers on here

Almost a complete sell out, how long since we've had one of those?!

We'll lose then.

Every time we get a surprise (or out of the ordinary) full house, we lose. Or draw 0-0.

Gutted I'm missing this. Only the second home games this season I've missed. Will be depressed if it's a sellout and we get a full house with a win.

Don't you worry, I'll be talking to myself from my desk as the goals go in.

Good one, EL. You noted some of us were not alive for the last meeting in 1993. The first game I ever saw (tv) or at least can recall was the 1953 Cup Final and the scars remain. I hope we slaughter them tomorrow.
