The inevitable suspension of SKD
So he's one card away from sussy right?
Which game shall he commit Hare Kari in?
Next week to have the Brownburn game off, or save it until West Brom at home?
Thought he played quite meekly yesterday. Wonder if he was under instruction for that, or am I being cynical?

I'd rather support Bolton than be you.

The way he's going to ground recently, I fear he may be booked for diving before he gets booked for persistent fouling or recklessness.
Re: The inevitable suspension of SKD
It's only right that we consider what game Kevin Davies should be suspended for. The hope is that he won't get another booking but it will be a better situation for us if he picks a game that he will be better at missing (say the York City game for example). That being said though I doubt he can go till January 8th before picking up another booking so i'd rather be hoping he miss a game that we will not struggle from his absence. I think we'll need him for the WBA game and I think i'd prefer him to miss the Blackburn game as Klasnic and Elmander will get more success out of playing the likes of their defenders and Davies will get more success out of playing WBA's defenders.

Re: The inevitable suspension of SKD
I think Kev wants to be fighting 'fit' and suspension free for the Blackburn game for obvious reasons.
Pfffft.

Get pushed about and fall, or resist and get penalised for backing-in? His options are a bit limited these days due to the Ferguson and Wenger tar-brushing campaigns. Re: The inevitable suspension of SKD
does this mean the original premise that SKD is but one game from suspension is incorrect, he is, in fact, five games away, having already served a suspension this season, and therefore all this discussion is bollocks?CAPSLOCK wrote:I fear you'll need to say it againAthers wrote:5 yellows off another suspension
Re: The inevitable suspension of SKD
Tis my understanding he has 6 yellows this season, one while playing for England

So inevitable is the suspension that he';s already served it !!CAPSLOCK wrote:I fear you'll need to say it againAthers wrote:5 yellows off another suspension
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: The inevitable suspension of SKD
Sad to see actually, its not SKD like to be looking for fouls in the way he has been recently and he is getting more Nolan like in every game for the way in which he is questioning the ref about decisions against him!KeeeeeeeBaaaaaaab wrote:The way he's going to ground recently, I fear he may be booked for diving before he gets booked for persistent fouling or recklessness.
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED
Re: The inevitable suspension of SKD
Well, he's getting more free kicks and less bookings, so keep up the good work
The Davies of a few months back continually giving up possession by being penalised isn't worth his place in the team

He'll get booked at City. De Jong will decapitate him and he'll get booked for not leaving the field whilst dead

Folk can mock all they wanty but in amongst his 3000 posts saying the same thing, there was actually some truth
Things did break down at Davies and he did need to modify his play

Indeed Caps, but his constant banging of the drum became as boring as your Megson posts
