Oh - I know! Peter Gabriel?
Given hie eminences occupation I would have thought the LAST person he would want to be associated with is Joyce. Then again.........................
For all you younger viewers Joyce is the reason I (briefly) considered joining the priesthood (well, buy a dog collar at least)
Google her for the full details.

just out of interest, you often refer to your 'partner' - are you just being unsexist, or are you in a gay relationship? Just that everyone else uses words like 'missus' 'wench' 'doris' etc?William the White wrote:I didn't plan this, but partner and football-hater wants to go to IKEA this weekend... now planned for Sat afternoon, arriving about 3.00...
Good. I need a displacement activity...
It's good to have a homo contingent on a football forum in this day and age IMO.

On a strictly literal reading two people want him to go with them to IKEA: "partner" and this mysterious "football-hater" which one can only infer to be some kind of demon, twisting and poisoning minds away from football in favour of appraisal and purchase of insipid Swedish homewares. Our prayers must be with WtW in this troubling time.

It is worthy of a custodial sentence. A Grammar Police squad car has been despatched.bobo the clown wrote:Bish .... really .... if you ever use that 'word' again I will need to take rental space on a poster advert board in the Sth Essex area and out you as an unspeakable person of some description.thebish wrote:but you're certainly welcome on here to analyse and then (to invent a new verb!) postmatchbanterise the game...

I feel fortified by the prayers but on marches the clock and the winding road to Warrington beckons...Horza wrote:On a strictly literal reading two people want him to go with them to IKEA: "partner" and this mysterious "football-hater" which one can only infer to be some kind of demon, twisting and poisoning minds away from football in favour of appraisal and purchase of insipid Swedish homewares. Petrov starts. Ricketts retains his place. No Holden.
Re: money bags v the trotters
I'll re-iterate that I don't think we'll get anything out of this in the absence of the Muamba & Holden 3000hp Midfield TurboEngine.

It's either gonna be 0-0 or a 4-0 battering. Depends which City turns up.
Early goal by us though, owt could happen

Can't make an argument from silence though, can we?
Re: money bags v the trotters
City starting with Balotelli and Tevez, 4-4-2 or 4-3-3? Could be a few goals again this afternoon! Don't know why Ricketts is still in the team Steinsson should be in, hopefully Petrov 'comes back to haunt his former club'.

feck's sake, can we not keep a clean sheet? Isn't this a team who hadn't scored at home for the last 3 games?
