Other than that, I only saw the last twenty minutes. City looked very solid if unspectacular. Can't offer much more than that.
They were doing us early, really on the ropes there. We had moments in middle 1st half but all game most of our traffic was through the middle and they handily blocked that up with Gazzabazza and Nigel Young.

Ah well. Odd how many Citeh players went down quicker than a cheap hooker when they went down to ten men, all to eat up the time. Cheating b*stards. We gave a decent account of ourselves, rode our luck a little bit, but we never really got into our stride attacking wise. SKD, Elmander and Petrov never really looked at the races, and you can tell exactly where we miss Holden - when our defence has the ball. All they do now is hoof it as far as they can, which is irritating...

Still, only the 3rd defeat of the season and we're into December. Who'd'a thunk it? And all against members of the supposed "Big 5". Nearly halfway through the season, things still look rosy, we're 6th, Citeh didn't thump us, chalk it up to football!

Only way forward is cheat..it seems. Some of the ariel antics were an insult to the male population. Toure and Tevez did more holding-off and backing in in this game than KD has done all season. As for Balotelli....the bxstxxd even winked at somebody after going down under a snowflake challenge and writhing about like he'd been hit with an axe. Rules for some..

Can live with 1-0 against the money bags. Always had hopes of an equaliser but what the hell.

Next week Holden in for Muamba and bring on the Dingles  4-0

Seriously you are shitting me?

We need strength next week, leaving Davies in and taking out Muamba would be plain daft.

Seconded. Mavies has done well, but we need Holden for his willingness to both tackle and always receive a pass, plus his vision. And Muamba is crucial to our breaking up attacks. With Moo and Stu in the middle, we lost 2 out of 14 games. With Moo and Mavies, we've drawn one and lost one. And generally have looked poorer.

Ref was shocking, Davies was Davies & Ballotelli is frustratingly annoying - class act but a diva

4-0 would have been a fair reflection imho

You weren't the only one suffering from dodgy decisions, mate. If our players hit the deck and writhed around as much as yours did, they'd have been off. Yeah, you were better than us today, but our keeper kept us in it...thus I reckon 4-0 is a bit of a push. Maybe you'd have deserved 2-0. Or possibly 3-1, given that Hart nearly gift-wrapped us a goal.

Don't get carried away mate. That's what other teams are on the pitch for. You won, got the points and fair enough. That's what you've spent multi-millions for. It's a long season yet though and City aren't known for being at the top at the end of it. Time will tell.

Not happy today but not many people would of expected us to get anything out of the game so not too bad.

Back to winning ways next week hopefully :D

Just got back from the game and was a little disappointed with some of their antics. I thought they were dangerous on the counter and tat it didn't just run for us in the box.

On an aside Wanderers fans in good voice, Citeh massif very quiet until the last 5 mins
Pfffft.

Ooh - I know this one! Brian Ferry??? no...

Oh - I know! Peter Gabriel?
I was thinking more Maxine Carr ... or Joyce McKinney
Given hie eminences occupation I would have thought the LAST person he would want to be associated with is Joyce. Then again.........................

For all you younger viewers Joyce is the reason I (briefly) considered joining the priesthood (well, buy a dog collar at least)

Google her for the full details.
30 years ago, in Bolton match day programmes there was a "meet the player" page. In one it was the, frankly fantastic, Roy Greaves' turn.

The questions rolled on & he gave 'normal' answers ... for the most part; -

Car .... Lada
Favorite other team ... Howrich RMI
Favouite Film ... Harry Potter (OK, it wan't, but he was years ahead of his time)
Favorite food ... Steak & Chips
You weren't a footballer ... In Jail
... and then ..
Who would you most like to meet .... Joyce McKinney.

loved it. He was my hero.

& a girl who kidnapped the bloke she stalked, kept him in her home, chained ... and 'made' him fck her. Bless her little cotton sox.
"I love him so much that I would ski naked down Mount Everest with a carnation up my nose if he asked me to."
... & she's still being weird. She recently (falsely) claimed to have had her dog cloned in Korea.

I know I'm going to regret this but .... well, how can I put it .... what the fck are you talking about ? :conf:

You don't actually talk like that in real life do you, Horza ? If you do, well ... you know when people sort of stop talking & make for the door quite regularly ?

Well, I think I know why.

Call me.

Went to the game and thought we were pretty poor today. Our passing was dire. When we did get the ball on the floor and ran at them we looked all right and in the second half we were dangerous down the right flank but didn't run at them/take them on enough. They could have been 3/4 up after 15 minutes though and had chances second-half so 1 - 0 flatters us. What I can't understand is the why we didn't really go for it after 70 minutes and throw caution to the wind. We were lucky just to be in the game at that point. We played better than we used to do away under Megson but I had a few flashbacks watching the aimless long-balls we kept pumping forward. No one really shone today but no one player was a disgrace, that said K Davies and Elmander didn't do anything of any note and that was why we didn't score to be honest.
