Plus you need a coat for every home game. Sit in the East with us beautiful people and get a tan* 8)

North Lower is where the old fashioned football crowd go.

Full of pissheads and notrights*. Perfect.

Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Oooh, I was only saying last week that the North Stand is the only one that I've never been in. Destiny's calling. :D

I generally go in the North Stand - still trying to work out which category I fall most into as I can see a case for both.

On balance, both options have to be better than:

a) Henley's clad, orange faced, chavs in East and
b) People who have been predominantly dead for some while in West.

I used to sit in the North Stand Lower and it has the best mix of fans in it.

But I got bored of watching from behind a goal and moved to the West then the East.

I can't say any are perfect! Think I might go back North next season!

think i fancy a move to the West? although id never convince the others.

be good not having the sun in your eyes at the early season games, maybe see whats going on the technical area and who is warming up to come on.

Also could fool me into thinking we had a good attendance, looking at the brimming east stand rather than the view of the scattered west stand i have now. although tbf when were on tv, you see the east stand and sometimes you can still make out the word 'Reebok' in the seats!

Just make sure you only speak in whispers. And don't do that too often or you might wake up the rug brigade sat around you!

Having sat in the East since the opening, I don't think I'd move now. Sat amongst the same people since the ground opened, so have a good laugh with them all. Like it. Good atmosphere, a bit of sun, and plenty of linesman-abuse.

That's why I moved west. Not just the early season games either, bearing in mind that the sun is lower on its axis in the winter months.

You're missing a wonderful opportunity here.

If you moved to North (or West), you'd be able to have a good laugh at them instead of with them.

I prefer East stand lower.
The closer you get to the scoreboard / away fans the more eejits there are.
Half-way line is just about the right level of passion, chanting, banter etc.
West stand, as said before is more family oriented.
Was upper North stand today, it was full and a good atmos but there's a fair few comp tickets up there so not everyones a white or even a football fan!
I'd rather support Bolton than be you.

I moved out of ESL a couple of seasons ago to North Lower after 8 years I had to go for a cheaper option, took a long time to get used to not seeing the same faces around my seat. I can still see the gap where my seat was from where I sit now!

West Lower (south) has most of the Manny Rd North crew, so if we're talking old skool hardcore, it pisses all over the rest of the ground
