You know what you're going to get with Blackburn. No need for Moo breaking up passing moves thru the middle.Sooner or later percentages dictate the ball will drop for them.We need to keep the ball down and maybe be a little more composed. We're giving it back far too cheaply so far.We can run rings round these lumberers if we get a bit more settled in possession.Like the commentator said can't see Allardyce ever managing England. The Allardyce Bolton were best when they mixed up the style a bit.Allardyce's teams haven't done that for a long time

Re: Wanderers v Hillbilly Banjo players
Game of two halves needed here. They've had most of the play although innefectively. Sam seems to have told his defence "Shove Davies in the back every time, he'll get nowt". He's right. Roberts using his arse all over the place and going down like a girl. Blackburn seem to have gone soft, all over the ref for every feather challenge. They've had about forty corners up to now. Time for a change of tactics and keeping it on the deck moreLong ball's doing nothing. Lee's done more defending than attacking. Come on you Whites, get amongst them.

Re: Wanderers v Hillbilly Banjo players
Allardyce's Blackburn stifle and strangle the game, usually playing the ball either into the corners to draw out the set play or over the top of the advancing centre-backs which we have to be careful of. Best way we can combat it would be to draw them out with passing on the floor and the odd through ball.
We can play the passing game, I've seen it with my own eyes.

5 on 4 in midfield is making it hard for us to get and retain possession and then effectively four centre halves against Elmo and SKD has snuffed us out.. we showed some promise when Ricketts and Robbo joined in .. but that lead to the Pedersen free kick when we were almost done by a long hoof up the gut to Roberts.. .. tricky..

Re: Wanderers v Hillbilly Banjo players
Yeah that seems to be the problem that we have with Allardyce's other teams, they pinch and squeeze the game. Once they get a goal we're done for as they'll go defensive.

Jaaskelainen's now even trying to punch the ones that come into his body. Fine reflexes but what a soft c*nt that boy is!

Not exactly difficult though, eh Norm?
Is this game bad because we or bad or is it because the oppo is terribly defensive?
