Another game, another win?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: Wanderers v Hillbilly Banjo players
Thought Ricketts was MotM today. Best right back performance I've seen in a white shirt for a good while. Up, down, beat man, made great tackles, great crossing....its his shirt now.
Robinson also excellent. Not convinced with either centre half and how they dealt with Blackburns limited attack. We did keep out the *yawn* long throws though......
Its like we invent new ways to win....hadn't even finished swearing and we've scored!
Its great being a Bolton fan at the moment.
Be interesting what happens with Petrov, I thought it was one of his best games with us so sympathise, but we were also down to ten men, so right substitution. Speaking of which I think it will be york before we see Mark Davies again. Two daft bookings, no complaints with that decision, just the rest of that bastards performance. Why the f*ck was our second goal disallowed (and yes I'm calling it a goal!). And we should of had a pen when Ricketts went through in the first half!

Good try, but he fell over running backwards.DJBlu wrote:I think its to do with how he went down with his thigh injury in training.seanworth wrote:I laughed when I saw that. First thing I thought was that's what happens from lack of practise. Guess it went through most Bolton fans minds.thebish wrote:what was Holden's falling over goal celeb about???
and - Moo - he didn't INTEND to fall over after his - did he! he needs more goal celebration practice..
nice to see the midfield chipping in with some goals...
& Clattenberg was toss ... as per usual. But what the fck has he done with his hair ? Big girl's blouse that he is.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Great finish to the weekend.
Shame Drogba couldn't convert his pen, but 6th and clear is a great feeling.

It's much easier to be optimistic these days.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

I wonder if anyone with too much time on their hands can put together a video of Allardyce's face after Blackburn scored and then when ours went in?
The OTT celebration followed by the "oh shit" look!
As Mastercard would say, priceless!

Aye, much as I love him there was a bit of schadenfreude on his face there.
F*ck him. Though he was and always will reamin a hero of mine for the things he did for us.

Re: Wanderers v Hillbilly Banjo players
What a brilliant 3 points that was. Funniest thing was that I downloaded the match and was watching on my computer without knowing the result. After they scored I had to pause to go do something, and had started to resign myself to a shitty-feeling draw. Came back 10 minutes later, hit play and Holden had scored before I knew it!
Talk about pausing for dramatic effect!

Team did great, but 'll drop a word in for captain Kev here. Multi-policed everywhere, pushed, kicked and shoved to distraction, never going to get anything off Clatenberg but kept plugging away and making a nuisance of himself, cleared a cert goal off the line and provided another great flick on for the winning goal to boot.
