Is it on the iplayer? Don't have access, genuinely want to watch it.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Has father White given his opinion or did he simply refuse to watch it?William the White wrote:Macbeth on BBC4 was a stunning production, with Patrick Stewart giving an outstanding performance in the title role. Shakespeare traditionalists would hate it

Oh, and I forget, did you ever get round to ordering up and watching the Shakespeare retold dvd?
May the bridges I burn light your way

He is in hospital unfortunately. But he would have loathed it. Wouldn't have got past the title sequence!!!Bruce Rioja wrote:Has father White given his opinion or did he simply refuse to watch it?William the White wrote:Macbeth on BBC4 was a stunning production, with Patrick Stewart giving an outstanding performance in the title role. The Shakespeare retold are on my Lovefilm list... As is A very Long Engagement... None, as yet, have made it to my letter box.

Watched it yesterday - tis brilliant.General Mannerheim wrote:White Ribbon (Das weisse Band) now showing on anytime.
Quite unlike anything ive ever seen before, very strange & very dark, and totally not what I was expecting - can be a bit slow in parts, but still completely compelling.
looking forward to Of Gods & Men tonight.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
I'm currently watching "The War You Don't See" on ITV. It's a documentary by John Pilger about biased reporting of war in modern times.
It's a good watch, although it's sounding exactly how my Dissertation read a few years ago so it's bringing back unwanted memories of all night toiling over chapters and trying to write conclusions whilst leathered. Bah, only had a degree riding on it anyway!
And Pilger's spent some time slagging off "The Hurt Locker" too (one of my favourite pastimes). Not for the same reasons I would, but any criticism of it will do for me

I meant eight hours. Not sure why I wrote hours hours. I did arts though. Intense, but I made revalations in that time.P.O.S. wrote:I spread mine out over a year. Re: What are you watching tonight?
Feck - forgot it was Pilger tonight. One of my fave doc makers and political dissidents (some will not be surprised to find).
Tonight partner and I watched Raising Arizona - another little piece of hilarious near genius from the Coen bros. So good - such assured parody that it's almost a new genre... Can't believe I missed it until now...
