Our least entertaining game this season was Liverpool at home. To be fair to Liverpool, they played to their strengths and stifled our natural flair and creativity, just like we used to do. But I'd rather poke my eyes out with a sharp fish than watch that every week.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

On the BBC - Hodgson (rather disingenuously) proclaimed - "It's a triumph for Stoke's style of play." - wanker!
(who was it that picked up the red card?? and - how many dirty slashing tackles did Gerard get away with - again?)

Liverpool fans swamping 606 calling for Hodgson's head...
that's not right - surely?? I thought Liverpool was the club with the patient fans who give the manager a chance, whereas WE are the moaning whining fans who are after the manager before he's worked out where the club sugar-bowl is kept...

Yep, what was it ... 14 games one win, maybe 2. That'd do for me.seanworth wrote:I think Little Sam is up for the job.

I also noted that it's viwed that Liverpool's solution to their crisis, now they've robbed the owners of their property is to want to commence another spending spree and rebuild the debt they so carefully got around having.

Don't forget they supposedly have been after CYL as well, and some fans wanting Coyle for the job. The sad thing is their saviour is right under their nose. Just give the job to Little Sam. Job done.thebish wrote:it might be a bag of wank... (err.. yes, it is)

Ah, Rafa, the gift that keeps giving !!
Again with the whining and the plea for limitless funds. Only this time he hasn't got a bunch of disgruntled fans happy to take his side against unpopular owners and he's not got his publicity hungry support team up & running yet.
Though, fair's fair. Many congratulations on a terrific victory against a team from the domestic Congolese league. Some challenge that must have been. Another of Blatter's bright ideas I assume.

Personally, I think there could be a fourth option. Suspension and then, following appropriate investigation, dismissal from you post, forthwith and thus without contractual notice payments, for Gross Misconduct for public and unwarranted criticism of the owners.Benitez said: "There are three possibilities for the club.
One, 100% support for the coach and buy four or five players to build a stronger team with competition among the players to be able to carry on winning matches and trophies.
Two, carry on like this without a project, without planning, and go ahead with one person to blame, for the whole season.
The third - to speak to my agent to reach an agreement if there is not this support. Simple."
