She's probably not on her own there PB.
His grannie sounds really nice. And politically astute.
I feel I should point out at this point that Nanna Crayons carries a BNP card in her purse, before we get too carried away about her political credentials...

But as long as her economics is sound.

Does she criticise you for being too left wing? And has this happened very often in your life?

Well, yes - as I think you might be aware, I am an economic liberal and a social liberal... both positions tend not to find favour with her, so I usually scrupulously avoid political discussion when she's around.

This article makes the same (perfectly reasonable) point that I associate with Bish, about postcode lotteries increasing in proportion with the amount of local decision-making.

Not something I have a problem with, incidentally, as long as accountability shifts to the local level too.

Cameron's storm-troopers drag an obviously dangerous man from his wheelchair and dump him in the gutter....

Not just "an obviously dangerous man" this is Jody McIntyre. Seems to be a "Professional" disabled person. Lots of admirable qualities, some rather dodgy ones. Demands equality for all and quite rightly so, though also says it's unfair he can't travel on London Underground, mutters about apartheid. Fronted the Israeli police and/or Mossad where he was allegedly beaten for criticising Shimon Peres. I can feel some sympathy for him but he had been involved in earlier incident so perhaps the police had had enough of him. I can only think of one comparison to him and that is Peter Sellers as Dr Strangelove. 8)
Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.

Equality might have been a couple of well-heeled people in a roller getting dragged out and a poke in the ribs or two...

Shit... nearly happened... Pity it didn't, eh?

Actually, thinking about it, they'd have been better off concentrating on head shots in case he's already fecked from the neck down. I'll write to advise!

Bloody hell, Cameron has been busy if he's recruited all those storm-troopers since he got into Number 10.

And the "student" bystanders - what do you think they were reading? English? They were very articulate. :oyea:

The coppers should have let his tyres down as well. There's one for the next briefing.

Next up the water cannons will be making an appearance.

Can't wait until they impose Martial Law, all on the back of some spotty students.

Not sure they are anyway. I think they're going with the "kick fook outta people more" option.
