Maybe you should chose another.

Don't like it, fine, it's your forum. Enjoy the wankfest over "Ford Super Sundays"

As in when we played in maroon, in the same division as Man Utd, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Sunderalnd et al...

(maroon was colour of home shirt, not away :fingers: )

Well, to be fair, in those days, teams wore their ';change' colours only when there was a clash. So when you played Bolton (who wear white) you played in your maroon shirt with a big (white, I think) 'Y' on it.

Just trying to be helpful.

I assume that's the joke that just keeps on giving. Well done for the recycling efforts.

Although we'll get to the 5,000 figure, it's already pretty much nailed on that your stadium being bossed by us that Saturday, given the dullness of most Premiership crowds, nevermind less than half turning up as suggested. Hope your reserves will be up for some of the surprises we've got planned for them, uptight stewards or not ;)

There is something amusing about a £2m benchwarmer from somewhere overseas running for his life with a flare on his head
Haha! Let's throw flares at people! Haha

In all seriousness, I hope you bring a good crowd and have a top day.. But please don't get into this cock measuring, our fans are better than your fans bollocks
Indeed, when your a non league side averaging just over 2,300 every week it's a tad silly...

Well, I'm seriously impressed by the thought that York will turn out 5000 for this game. And it looks like this is not just boasting, the sales are going well. That's excellent.

I'm old fashioned. I love the FA Cup. It's given me some of the best moments as a Bolton fan.

And I want to win it. This year. Starting with Danny's lot.

I don't think he's being literal about flares thrown at our bench. Just excited and looking forward to the match against a top six club - and who could blame him?

We're lucky if we can field £2m first team players, let alone benchwarmers.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

The last time we played them that springs to mind was a night match at Burnden in about 84. Asa Hartford scored with an absolute peach. 8)
I,m originally from York, remember well the early 70,s when Bolton brought a a load of 'Clockwork' and the fun goings on in the Pop' stand before crowds were segragated. We didnt have ultras then, just the Acomb boot boys and the Clifton Aggro.

Dont think we had stewards then either...that would have been a laugh :D

Dont understimate City , i have seen many a turn over ...

Marx is okay, just likes a chat about football. He's a regular visitor here and has been known to talk sense a time or two.

When you grew up in 1970's York , to see top football you needed to travel, I used to get all over as a kid , Leeds , Liverpool, both Sheffields, Nottingham, Middlesbrough...anywhere there was football ( and a bit excitement in a crowd) .....Bolton never appealled

i have followed Sunderland now for over 25 years with my Kids, they are " our club" ... but there will always be a place for City and if they play each other next round, i may have to abstain :D

Cheers tango, i've got my sensible head on.

Anywho lads , thats me away...just dropped in to acknowledge the game...see you in May :oyea:

By the way...love this thing that alerts you to new posts before you submit...respect, cutting edge .

We've now sold 2,900 as of about an hour ago, in just under 4 days of ticket sales.

Bottom tier should be sold out by 5pm.

I don't think we will be far off selling the 1,900 tickets for the top tier. Plenty of time still to go.
