No shit

We're a small club with few fans and even less money, yet we've pretty consistently finished above you in the last 10 years

How weird is that, eh?

And a bit of a bummer, for you

Fall into it every time, don't they?

Massive fan base. Never win anything. You'd think they'd be a little more modest at their appalling lack of achievement.

That Sunderland Forum is hilarious in parts, especially the stick they gave to Jussi. Apparently he's dropped a few clangers in his time at the Reebok. This is probably the reason we let a great goalkeeper in Ali Al-Habsi go to Wigan.

A club that paid £9million for Craig Gordon has no business laughing at Jussi!!

If I recall, isn't Jussi the reason they felt they had to spend £9m on Gordon ?

I'm sure I recall on here the wannabe Geordie's telling us how he was going to sign for them on an end-of contract freebie.

You charlies live in Newcastle's shadow - both the city and the football club.

No wonder you get over 40k at home games, there's hardly much competition up in the NE, whereas we've got both Manchester clubs and both Liverpool clubs nearby, not to mention Wiggin & Jackburn.

So what's the plan tonight then? Logging onto't Sunderland website, where you all talk about how great your support is, even though the rest of the country ignore you?

Sunderland are f*cking sh*te - I've got more time for Hartlepool than I have for you mongalongs.

Oh really? Last ten years I'd probably say yes to that, but before that then I would have to disagree.

There's alot of touchy Wanderers fans on here though. :spank:

Looks like it's snowing in the NE. Being an early game on Saturday this might be ok before it gets too deep.

Don't think the depth will be a worry or the cold. Can't be any colder than Winter Hill. Snowstorms might be a probem though in cancelling.

Very tight game but Sunderland are too good at home so likely to be a 2-1 loss I'm afraid.

But on the other hand they are due a loss as records always come to an end sometime so perhaps we are due a win their!!

Hows that for fence sitting! :D
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

Come away from this with a draw at worst and we'll have nothing to complain about. Tough away game, but, the way we're playing a win isn't off the cards. If we don't lose I won't be crying. Our respective positions and points say a draw...but then you never do know. Are there many fat ladies up there?

So Bruce figures we are basically long ball merchants not playing much different than before only executing the style better.

Get the feeling we might win this game.

So given that it can't be worse, I'm there. Take a point all day long from this game.
You failed to mention the fact that we almost died on the way home!
Died?? Explain
Coach driver fell asleep at the wheel
Football fans eh - I remember all Sunderland's goals but forgot about nearly dying!
