We've scored as many as Chelsea this season??

Admittedly, we've conceded 10 more. I'm still impressed though.

Another interesting stat is of the six times we've conceeded more than two goals we've W2 D3 L1 - that's real resilience.

looks like anelka is fit, hopefully he'll have a quiet one...i think we can get something tonight, it's the best chance we've had in a while if form is anything to go by

Now that United have draw away to Birmingham. Shocker. Chelsea will feel they can gain 2 valuable points on them if they win tonight and I think we can use that to our advantage, we've been surprisingly good on the counter attack this season and with A.Cole thinking he's a third striker and Ivanovic not being so good at tracking back, I think Matty and Martin will be our best bet to success tonight.

Also, Holden needs to be on form, statistically the best tackler in the Premier League at the minute! It helps.

I'm hoping the extra day of rest will benefit us. Need it too since Pool will only be playing their second game of the week.

The extra day will be brilliant for us, the only problem I see, is Bosingwa.

Ferrira is dismal, he shouldn't be playing in the PL, never mind for Chelsea, and if he wouldn't have cocked up against Arsenal, he would have probably started against us, which would have been brilliant. Now, I don't see that happening.

Lawrenson's pearl of wisdom!
WEDNESDAY

Chelsea v Bolton

Bolton would not have beaten West Brom last year - that is the extent of the influence of Owen Coyle.

But Chelsea have started to turn the corner so I think they will edge it, although it will be a closer contest than you might have expected at the start of the season.

Prediction: 2-0
You're right Lawro.. We wouldn't have beaten them last season... IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP!

Oh, and if Chelsea can 'turn the corner' after a 3-1 defeat to a team they usually ALWAYs beat, then they're surely going all the way!

Got 11-1 on an away win, and 4.5/1 on a draw.

Not bad.

Not sure we are getting the game live on TV as they are showing the Arsenal game at 3-45 am and our Chelsea game is on "delayed live" at 6am! So I may stay in bed until then as well! Different bed of course!
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED
