I can only assume these soft cnuts are wearing the wrong studs, they've spent that much time on the deck.

Fecking disgraceful.

I can hear Coyle (or is Sandy Stewart?) barking out team instructions

Ancelotti isn't saying anything, just standing there.

Good first half. Lets keep them out and hit them on the counter. Can't see this one staying goalless though!

We've played them well first half. Good harrying and closing down. Chelsea chickens take to the air at every opportunity. Obviously playing the "dirty Bolton" card whenever they can. Good to see us keep forcing them back. I think Cech has seen more of the ball than the rest of the blues. Keep it up lads. COME ON YOU WHITES.

My moment of the first half was that!

Rodrigo seems to do his defensive duties well with him and Ricketts on the right they have pretty much kept Cole out of the attack! Ricketts with some good crosses too!

Holden seems quiet or is that just me?

Well that's about as good a first half as we could have expected, bar a goal or two of course. We've done a good job of utilizing our pressing game to frustrate their attack and have gotten forward a fair few times ourselves. Ricketts seems to be magic going forward, nutmegging Cole like it was just another day at the office. Taylor has been a mixed bag; he looks the most likely player in a white shirt to score but has also wasted some balls as well. Nice to see the young Spaniard get a start, the kid really can get on his bike can't he? The rest of his game seems to be lacking a lot, however, with some bad decision-making on the ball marring an otherwise decent performance. He has done especially well defensively against Cole imo. Knight and Cahill have been quite strong at the back and Robinson is ever-present as always. Holden and Muamba doing well with their pressing in midfield, and of course the American is always up for a tackle and always making himself available for a pass from the defense.

I'd have to say Davies and Elmander have been a bit of a weak link. If they could kick into gear while the rest of the team maintain their level of performance I'd say 3 points is more than possible. Can't discount the fact that Chelsea are basically on one day's rest, so let's take full advantage and all the points as well!

indeed - it has the horrid aroma of one of those games where we compete well all over the pitch - perhaps even shade the chances, but

either..

1) we have a player sent off with 20mins to go
2) one moment of anelka/drogba brilliance turns it all to shite
3) terry nods in a scrappy corner off knight's arse in the 89th minute

and then it feels worse than getting dicked 5-0 by a massively superior team...
