Ah, perhaps I'll get to see it when you fettle us a round on there, young man.mummywhycantieatcrayons wrote:Casa Benitez is one of the finest properties in Caldy, the nicest residential area on the Wirral (and one of the top dozen in the country, I should have thought...). Benitez is not officially gone yet, and yet Tribal have put their impecable record on the line and said that he is now linked with Blackburn. Must be that 5m budget in January that is attracting him.

Inter Milan have confirmed that they have parted company with manager Rafael Benitez just over six months after appointing the Spaniard.
The move follows Benitez asking for backing from the board to buy players following the Serie A side's Club World Cup win over TP Mazembe last Saturday.
Instead, with Inter 13 points behind in the league and struggling for form, they have chosen to sack Benitez.
The Spaniard took over at the San Siro from Jose Mourinho in June.
Mourinho, who left for Real Madrid, led Inter to the Serie A title, the Italian Cup and the Champions League glory last season and left his successor with a hard act to follow.
Benitez took over at the San Siro a week after leaving Liverpool on 3 June and, although he had had injuries to key players to contend with, the 50-year-old's exploits have not helped his cause.
Although Inter have two games in hand of the teams above them in the Serie A table, they are languishing in seventh place having won only six of their 15 league games.
In defence of their Champions League crown, the Nerazzurri could only finish as group runners-up behind Tottenham to leave them a difficult tie against Bayern Munich in the last 16.
Even though Inter won the Club World Cup by beating the Congolese team, it did not leave Benitez in enough of a position or power to survive his outburst after the match.
"There are three possibilities for the club," said Benitez. "One, 100% support for the coach and buy four or five players to build a stronger team with competition among the players to be able to carry on winning matches and trophies.
"Two, carry on like this without a project, without planning, and go ahead with one person to blame, for the whole season.
"The third," he added, "is to speak to my agent to reach an agreement if there is not this support. Simple."
Inter president Massimo Moratti was less than impressed by Benitez's comments and said they were "were not suitable for the situation" before adding it was "not the moment to ask for reinforcements".
Consequently, the Inter board have sought to remove Benitez with the Serie A season currently on a winter break and Inter's next game scheduled for 6 January at home to Napoli.

I am absolutely gobsmacked that any Liverpool fan would really want him back!
My dog (proper 57) had his anal glands emptied once and yes the smell is something to behold!!
Re: Benitez .... prick
A nice start to Christmas.
@Raven : there seems to be lots of Liverpool fans praying for his return.

I have no idea. They always supported him as it was more convenient to blame the yank owners for all their woes. Now things are not that good under Roy, and their memories are so short many are pining for his return.Raven wrote:Why?

Yet more evidence to back up what we already knew, that Anfield was the perfect home for a prick. From BBC live text.
From Andy in Cheshire, on text:
""An open letter from a Liverpool fan - Dear Roy, if you have any respect for our club and any self respect, do the decent thing and resign now. If you won't resign then the board should sack you. You are not good enough to manage our club."

Time to give Little Sam the shot he so deserves.
Re: Benitez .... prick
Or, alternatively, we've made our worst start to a season by this stage since the mid-50s when we were relegated.boltonboris wrote:They are doing better at the same stage this season, than they were last season
But yeah, better than last year, that's the same thing.

Joke of a club. Living on past glories. Finding excuses everywhere.
I hope they get relegated with that nice person Dalglish in charge. Cocks.

Lots of rumours today that Hodgson is toast and Coyle is the man.
