Sorry, certainly nothing personal meant, despite how it readsWilliam the White wrote:Don't think GG deserved that... And I'd be happy to see Vela in a white shirt, as I was Wilshere... Esp if we beat the mancs away and at home and he supplies a couple of goals... We are 7th, deservedly, we don't need to be upset by any other club's supporters. I reckon.Bruce Rioja wrote:
Is patrionisation a word? I watched your game against Birmingham yesterday. Johnson's tackle on Fabregas was absolutely textbook. Took the ball with stoods down. Your lot really are a bunch of absolute wankers!
Take your wimps and poke them up your ringpiece. We don't need to develop players for the likes of you! X

I watched the Brum - Arsenal game with gritted teeth as Yaffle was up, shaking his head and waving his arms about every time anyone in blue went anywhere near one of his darlings - and his players now display all the same traits. If you come off second best in a challenge for the ball then it doesn't automatically follow that you've been fouled.
Then, I watched the highlights on MotD and had to listen to some bilge-pot Gooner doing the commentary bringing up the Martin Taylor incident all over again. This was immediately prior to me posting up my little rant.
Again, my sincere apologies to GG, it most certainly wasn't meant as anything personal, just my general hatred of your club's two-faced, holier-than-thou attitude.
May the bridges I burn light your way

No problem, we're all entitled to our opinions and this is a bolton forum so youre fully entitled to say what you think! Doesn't mean you're right about my club
but being I'm one gooner amongst several hundred Bolton fans I won't go there!

Re: January transfer window...
Not sure it's been mentioned, but we've invited Klasnic's nephew for a trial in the academy.
He's called Vlatko Primorac and is 16.

Typo on the name i'm guessing as names in Croatian usually end up with a c at the end. Just to stop us all calling him Primorca lol.jmjhb wrote:Not sure it's been mentioned, but we've invited Klasnic's nephew for a trial in the academy.

Re: January transfer window...
Vlatka is a girl's name, and Primorac is a fairly common Croatian surname from what I can tell. So it's Vlatko Primorac.

An Australian of Croation descent.
From memory, the President of Croatia paid his family (based in Melbourne) a visit to get him to sign for Dinamo Zagreb.

Thought you might be but wasn't sureIanmooreslovechild wrote:Jesus.I must remember that irony doesn't work on the web.
There's talk of him going to Blackpool or one or 2 other clubs, possibly wolves.
Would be quite amusing to see him in the prem but I bet he'd play a blinder in at least one game and you can guess which it would be.

Blackburn after Ronaldinho, that's brilliant, take a hard working nuts and bolts team and sign an expensive has been then tell them to totally change their style of play midseason. It'll all end in tears and laughter

Obviously Coyle is after Vela on loan. Which is fine.
But where are the centre halves and midfielders?

I'm guessing Andy O'Brien is leaving, he's just tweeted to Davo that he'll come on Weds to watch "and say goodbye"

Signing expensive has beens (even if it is fanciful nonsense) only weeks after sacking the one manager in the country that has a proven track record of acheivement through utilising expensive has beens. Oh the irony.Ianmooreslovechild wrote:Blackburn after Ronaldinho, that's brilliant, take a hard working nuts and bolts team and sign an expensive has been then tell them to totally change their style of play midseason. It'll all end in tears and laughter

Gavin McCann will be given a 6 month contract, Joey O will be fit and Cohen will be back in the new year. That should put a stop to this ridiculously mobile midfield we've ended up with.
