You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: Wiggin
Head-to-head
• Bolton and Wigan have met 29 times in the league. Athletic hold the advantage with 11 wins, compared to 10 victories for the Trotters.
• Three of the last four league meetings between the sides have ended in draws.
• Bolton have not lost to Wigan since December 2008.
• Bolton have suffered four defeats in their last six league matches.
• The only side to have beaten Bolton at the Reebok Stadium so far this season is Liverpool, who have since completed the league double over Owen Coyle's men.
• The Trotters have kept just two clean sheets at home this term, against Fulham and West Brom.
• Johan Elmander has scored in his last two matches against Wigan.
Wigan
• Defeat last time out ended a four-match unbeaten run.
• A win for Wigan would signal consecutive away victories for the first time in over four years.
• The Latics are in danger of losing back-to-back matches for a fourth time this season.
• Wigan are yet to record their first win against a fellow north west side this season. They have so far mustered just three points from a possible 21.

Re: Wiggin
This is going to be my last Wanderers home match, possibly ever.
I'm heading off on my travels again on the 24th (which is really annoying because we play Chelsea at home that evening, which I would have loved to have seen) so heres to hoping the Whites give me a big send off. I might even shed a tear if we can get a win. I've only missed two home games so far this season and I'm going to desperately miss match day once I leave.
I'll be in the WSL

I'd be more sympathetic if it wasn't Melbourne you're going back to. St Kilda beach is a much more pleasant prospect than Blackpool in mid January.Odelay wrote:This is going to be my last Wanderers home match, possibly ever.I'm heading off on my travels again on the 24th (which is really annoying because we play Chelsea at home that evening, which I would have loved to have seen) so heres to hoping the Whites give me a big send off. Should be a good win tonight, hopefully - I'm feeling confident, which, of course, means that we're actually domed.

Aye, but we don't have anything as passionate as the football here back home. It all disappeared when AFL teams started sharing grounds. The whole identity went out of the sport. Plus, I bet you'd find more syringes on St Kilda beach than Blackpool!

I most certainly will. Thanks for the kind words! I've already recruited one Bolton supporter in Australia. I cleverly said to my mate that JJB were out of Everton shirts, so I got him a Bolton one with his name and number.

Just let our BWFC Twitterati know that 'I've got a good feeling about this™.'
I dare not tell them we're dumed, for fear of jinxing it.

Re: Wiggin
I'm going to be in Canada/USA and India/SE Asia until May before I get back to Melbourne. It's gonna be mighty tough watching the Wanderers on the road. Thank god for my trusty laptop and myp2p. If it's an omen, the 4-0 drubbing of Wigan was a couple of days before I left Thailand to come to England. I remember my first meeting with a real whites (he was wearing a whites shirt) fan on the beach on Phi Phi island. I had a few pints with him and had the usual Megson moan! (He'd not long been sacked) Later that night I saw the score and noticed both Muamba and Elmander had scored. I bumped into the guy again later that night and we were both pissing ourselves laughing that both the Moo and Elmo had scored. Good times.TKIZ! wrote:Good luck Odelay, hope you make it back to Australia safely
