Be careful, Enfield has first dibs on her 12 yard box!

Not sure the content is quite as dramatic as the headline would suggest. Coyle asking Cahill to stay till the summer which sounds sensible all round.

Bit at the bottom caught my eye.
Coyle is planning to sign a new centre-half in the window, but it will be as an eventual replacement for Cahill.
I wonder who he has in mind?

a bit of a punt but Miles Addison cracking player safer bet would be David Wheater

It's her center circle I'd be interested in!

We need 4 or 5 players and fast. We looked knackered last night. Coyle needs to do some serious searching. I think Vela is now a great prospect, he would have stuck at least one of the chances Elmo got away last night.

Central midfield and defense have to be priorities for cover and competition.Vela should fall pretty low on the list of priorities unless we are shipping players out

We need attackers as well as defenders and midfielders. Vela can be an attacker or a winger......

He would have scored Muamba's, he's great at delicately chipping the goalkeeper.

Quite different to CYL, Rodrigo and Petrov then. Vela would be good but on a tight budget you'd expect priorities to be elsewhere especially given the lack of cover/competition in central midfield and defense.

Arsenal striker Carlos Vela is wanted on loan by Spanish side Valencia, with a view to a £2m permanent deal in the summer according to the Sun.

Don't need him but why not if its a loaner. Cover for Holden and Cahill priority (stating the obvious)..
Great story. Compelling, and rich.

Because we're short of cash and need to use wages and fees sensibly. What would signing Vela do for Rodrigo?
If we signed Vela Rodrigo may as well goback to Portugal

I can see the argument that borrowing Vela wouldn't do much for Rodrigo but borrowing Wilshere doesn't seem to have ended Mavis's career.

surely it's as simple as asking - who is better - who is likely to garner us more points? Not sure we have seen enough of Moreno yet to gamble the family silver on him - and Vela would be a freebie...

Doubt it, we'd almost certainly have to pay some wages and maybe a loan fee too...

No doubt about it.. We had to pay for Wilshere, so we'd have to pay for Vela. He's not earning a pittance either...

£20,000 a week apparently

according to tribal..
Bolton Wanderers are favourites for FC Utrecht midfielder Michael Silberbauer.

The 29 year-old Denmark international has also attracted interest from Celtic, but Bolton boss Owen Coyle is ready to tie him to a pre-contract agreement.

Silberbauer is off contract in June and declared he wants to move to the UK for next season.

Dutch sources say Bolton are favourites for his signature, despite the interest of Celtic.
