Re: Bolton vs York City
I get a bit upset with the club commentary because they don't really tell you what's going on. Is it on Tower?
Pfffft.

Re: Bolton vs York City
We seem to be passing the ball about quite a lot and Bogdan does throw the ball out well at times with no Davies to aim at. The two Spanish lads, particularly Roderigo, seem to be figuring in things as do Robbie Blake and Mark Davies. End to end stuff.

Re: Bolton vs York City
Other interesting scores Cardiff 1-0 up at Stoke, but Everton and Villa are both 1 up and Brum are 3 up.
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

Re: Bolton vs York City
Free kick them just outside the box and we clear. Three marking Roderigo. Rickets gives away another free-kick but only comes to a goal kick. No real signs of either side scoring just yet. Surface seems a bit greasy. We seem to be working it forward quite well, but Alonso gives away another free that comes to nothing. York defending well and Mark Davies hands out another free. All a bit to-ing and fro-ing but we're still trying to pass it.

Re: Bolton vs York City
Cahill tests the keeper with a fierce one from 25 yds that brings a good save and they clear. Davies and Petrov combining but the reds still defending well. I think there seems to be a lack of understanding between a few of our lads as York get yet another free resulting in a Bogdan save. Free kick us in their half. Blake hits it into the box but it's cleared. Now the commentary's gone....oh, it's back as we get a free kick. A goal right now would be nice as the commentary packs up again......
Cohen gives away another free and York do some passing still trying to push. Goal kick us with five to go. And another free to them, more to-ing and fro-ing and we get a free for a foul on Davies. Ref gets in the way again and Petrov goes down. Free us and.....it sails straight out. One minute e.t. and a last throw Klasnic handbags their keeper to no effect as the whistle goes.....0-0.

Re: Bolton vs York City
All a bit "blind leading the blind" this, but the lads who went will no doubt tell the true story later. Second half starts.....
Klasnic isn't appearing (injury? ) and Captain Kev subs. Good move, that nearly lets Super Kev in that gets blocked. We're really at them this half it seems.

Re: Bolton vs York City
Close call for us from six yards from a good through ball but just doesn't come off (fortunately). Zat slices a wild one but Bogdan grabs it. Rickets gets a bang and Mark Davie's volley goes wide. OC must have had a word at half time because we've woken up a bit. Alonso fells the big man (Ramsey) and then clears. York still giving it a go but Davies (M) and Blake get it away. Rickets bursts forward and a leg clears it. Livelier all round as they get a free but we clear. Good move from us breaks down. 13,120 attendence.

Petrov sails a good one in and just over Roderigo as Cohen leaves the pitch for Taylor.

Re: Bolton vs York City
Another free to them goes for a goal kick. Petrov's staying wide with Taylor alongside M Davies. Time to start putting this to bed lads. We don't need a replay. York still defending valiantly and they make a sub. Alonso gets an arm and we get a free. Petrov...cleared and Cahill brings a troop down. Free them but we clear. York break and get a free off Knight. This is going on too long. A 25 yarder and Bogdan clears but our skipper gives away another free.
20 to go and still stalemate.

Elmander replaces Robbie Blake, we must be taking it serious.

Don't think we fancy a replay.. with OC concerned at fixture overload recently..TANGODANCER wrote:Elmander replaces Robbie Blake, we must be taking it serious.
