This is who I feel sorry for;

Swansea City v Leyton Orient
Burnley v Burton Albion

Leyton Orient go to Norwich and win, Burton put out Boro and this is how they're rewarded. :(
May the bridges I burn light your way

They'll be keeping fingers crossed - keep going and grab a glamour tie at the Reebok...

The York fans staying on are they?

Worring draw as we regularly don't do well against Wigan who have become something of a bogey side for us, the dark side of football I guess. :Jedi: Draw and losing replay on the cards I'm afraid as no matter what their general play is like they can beat anyone on their day and a game against Bolton is often their day!

We will have to play our first team to have any chance of beating them and if our Premiership form and results don't improve over comming weeks Coyle may choose to rest a few and that could be the end of our cup run. Doomed I guess!
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

The useless twxts on the BBC news last night made a point to specifically report that there were only three all-premiership ties:
Fulham v Tottenham, Everton v Chelsea and Villa v Blackburn.
Can't quite put my finger on it but I'm sure there's more all-premiership games than that....

Coyle is looking forward to a cup run. We did not have cancelled games over Christmas so think we will be fine even with a small squad.

Probably better for them to get out of the cup. Need to rest in order to focus on their relegation struggle.

It doesn't help that we host Chelsea the Monday before (so two days' less recovery time) and host Wolves the Tuesday after. Which is also three home games in nine days, so it'll be interesting to see how many non-ST holders choose to attend Wigan, Wolves, both or neither.

Perhaps we should use the Chelsea game, which is live on telly, to appeal to all those who wouldn't come back until Megson leaves.

All this negativity is shocking!

Home draw against a team lower than us in the league. That's all you can ask for given the randomness of names out of a hat, and we got both.

Also, if they are still bottom three or thereabouts, then I wouldn't be surprised to seem them put out a weakened 11. We may do as well, but safe in the knowlege that Owen will throw on the big guns if and when required.

I'm very confident. Would like Sheff Wed at home in the round after!

Good point - they host Villa the Tuesday before and go to West Brom the Tuesday after, so they may deprioritise the cup. That said I get the impression Bob Martin hasn't really got a nailed-on first XI, they're all so inconsistent.

Happy enough getting Wigan as I thought we would get drawn against one of the better teams(Utd, Arsenal, Chelski apparently).

We are very capable of winning this should OC pick the right team as ya can see Wigan are no great shakes this season. I just hope over the next few games we can find our mid-november form again.

The thing that made this worse is I know the lad that drew us out of the hat.

Suppose he can't be blamed for it though!

£5 tickets anyone?

Can't complain with the draw really. Think we have a run in us this season and if you are going to draw a PL club Wigan is as good if not better than any.
