Politics can make you angry. That other one is for proper well thought out politics. And Hoboh. This is for ranting. Like how the Lib Dems and Tories are a bunch of lying shithouses and the fact that the last lot were too is absolutely no defence.

This VAT malarky.

You know, I don't mind paying 2.5% more VAT. The Germans have been paying more than us for ages. What nice people me off about this is, I don't mind paying it as long as I have a fookin job.

I can't be alone in thinking VAT is a sideshow, a distraction from the main issue?

Could have gone in politics as I'm not surprised enough to be angry, but.....Lib Dems looking like caving utterly on yet another promise?

England 277 for 5. Collingwood went for 13, Cook and Bell flying the flag at lunch. Cook a magnificent 120, Bell on 30. Bell's inning much better than his score suggests. Patient, took the steam out of the bowling and waited for his runs. Cook a scare on 99 with the Aussies appealing for a catch. Great umpiring by Dar who didn't think so, and technology showed the ball bounce. 3 runs behind with 5 in hand. Bed time. Hope I wake up to more good news.

Pointless meetings... There is very little need for me to sit in a room with 2 of the directors when they do what should have been done for our meeting infront of me... I even have time to write this as they prattle on stuff....

People who don't believe in prayer (which is a perfectly rational and decent upstanding position to hold) - so when they are writing a card or sending a message to a sick person write summat utterly wanky like "sending positive energy".

if you don't believe in prayer (again - eminently sensible and rational position to take) - don't just avoid the word "prayer" and substitute summat equally meaningless and wanky!!!

I'm standing on a ley line facing your direction and sending soothing thoughts, in the hope you will soon feel better about this.
