We couldn't get five on the same row - but a three and a two was easy...HMX wrote:I reckon around 1000? Could be wrong. Have no proof but when I checked on Weds, it was around 650.

I hope we bounce these bast*rds now after reading "I try to look like O'Neil" prick Pullits outburst about his bum chum "Ipswich and £500 grand a year ain't good enough for me" Megson!!!
Re: The Trotters v The Potters
It appears that Stoke are all fired up for this game. I think he has done a fantastic job at Stoke but Pulis is fast becoming the newest Premiership prick.

He refused to shake Mark Hughes' hand the other week after a loss. Now he wants his team to be over-aggressive against us (According to the report).

had to abandon an over-aggressive training session this week.
That appeared to spill over during a feisty training session on Tuesday when Pulis blew the final whistle for fear of an injury.
"We had to stop training," Pulis revealed, "because they were that competitive and fired up.
"Let's hope they are that fired up on the day."

We've got just about the same number of yellows for the season, but we have 4 times their red card count.TANGODANCER wrote:A few red cards on the horizon for them then?malcd1 wrote:It appears that Stoke are all fired up for this game. Somewhere, Danny Murphy's ears are ringing
Re: The Trotters v The Potters
Jussi
Ricketts
Cahill
Knight
Robbo
Mavies
Holden
Muamba
Taylor
Davies
Elmander
Guesing that means Mark Davies on the right, but the big one is Holden being back. Brilliant.

6 subs again, despite us naming 7 (with young O'Halloran) against York.
Strange, especially with Danny Ward's return to fitness.

Re: The Trotters v The Potters
Holden is an accomplished right-mid so I wouldn't be that surprised to see him on the right. However, given he's been so impressive in the centre, I'm presuming he's starting there.

Not that strange - as discussed plenty on t'other thread.t_o_molloy wrote:6 subs again, despite us naming 7 (with young O'Halloran) against York.

Coyle said that he wasn't in the business of putting people on the subs bench until they were ready. When they're ready (by which I guess he means nearly first team standard) he said he has no problem with 'em going on the bench.
So in summation. You don't get on the bench just because you're the "next best, fit player".
York was different - it wasn't a Premiership Club.

I'd rather put Muamba right-mid to be honest.jmjhb wrote:Holden is an accomplished right-mid so I wouldn't be that surprised to see him on the right. However, given he's been so impressive in the centre, I'm presuming he's starting there.

I understand, I just thought he saw Ward as one of his 'senior squad' with him taking him along to USA in pre-season.Worthy4England wrote:Not that strange - as discussed plenty on t'other thread.t_o_molloy wrote:6 subs again, despite us naming 7 (with young O'Halloran) against York.

Also his performance in the reserves v United mid-week was talked up in the B(E)N, leading me to presume it was paving a way for him to return to our squad.
