And not for the first time against Stoke. Not picking Davo out as being any more shite than anyone else on the park btw. :-)

It's bothers me that Davo never gets subbed.

The guy is a legend, but he's just not an ideal choice against a team like Stoke.

That said, who else could play today? Blake looks a bit out of shape and isn't getting any younger.

Our squad is rather embarrassingly small right now, it needs addressing. The way the league is at the moment, we won't be in the top half for long unless we stop this slide.

Davies has struggled recently. Not really recaptured his early season form recently

Well we're playing better than we were before we went 2-0 down, but too little, too late....

On another note - Trevor Francis really is a prat. I've forgotten just how much I dislike him - ever since he dove to try and get a penalty against us one cold Tuesday evening in the league cup....

I agree - he isn't

But it's horses for courses sometimes isn't it and sometimes you wonder up against a defence like this, particularly away from home, why don't we try and surprise them a bit?

Anyone else looking at the 2 up front for Stoke and thinking why can't Elmander and Davies do the same?

Off to get a Chinese.

See you all for the Smashing from Chelsea.

If we have all noticed how important he is to our team, then opposition managers most certainly will have.

They won't be getting players to stop Fabrice passing, moving, crossing or shooting will they?

We are too nice at the moment. Every other feck* is "winning" fouls and diving all over the shop, but not "honest Bolton".

Coyle's style? It's not like we're trying to play football and coming unstuck (a la Tony Mowbray's side's). We're playing shit football and doing it shit.
