I really want the minute's silence if I'm honest. A man has passed, but has left many fond memories to be thought of during those moments of quiet (and onwards).

I clap for about 60 seconds when the teams come out the tunnel every week.

If Chelsea had any grace they'd let us win as a mark of respect for Nat, just like Nat let ManU win in 1958 out of symp..

oh - hang on - bugger!

Lot's of reasons to want a win here - stop the slump, 3 points off a big 4 team, can't stand Chelsea etc. - but most of all for Nat.

Also, if Chelsea are going to be permitted to play 2 keepers against us then stop pretending and put JT in the same colour shirt as Cech.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.
Poor man last, rich man first.

More than a match this now I guess.

I just hope the lads out there are given a good schooling of what the lads from 1958 would have done and try their best to emulate it. Its all Nat would of wanted, win, lose or draw.

You do wonder whether there'll be a video shown, a Lofthouse clipreel, a short documentary. Our lads are mainly honest triers, no problem on that side, but it's possibly worth showing them some historeeeee...

Someone before mentioned that we'll be playing in the 1958 kit as a one-off.

Not THE kit, but a replica.

I bet we don't.. I hope we do, but I bet we won't.

Also, DSB. There will be a 20 minute video shown on all the concourse screens and on the big screen i the corner

That sounds like a nice idea but the sponsors wouldn't like it. Unless it's a 1958 kit with the current orange logo on it.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

I don't think they would have much choice, on the anniversary of the Munich disaster Citeh and ManYoo played in replicas of their strips from that year without sponsorship on.

I'm just saying, it could happen
Pfffft.

Anyways here's what we can expect.

http://www.bwfc.co.uk/page/General/0,,1 ... 33,00.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Minutes silence then a period of applause. Bit odd but covering all bases I guess.

Video is appropriate too.

Would like a nice huge banner as well to round things off.

They could make it up by giving out more foam fingers. In fact, if you're listening 118 bet or whatever you're called, could we do that anyway - it promises to be a reet cowd un on the owd arse cheeks

I quite like that. Nat doesn't just want people moping around as a result of his passing. He celebrated his life for 85 long years bringing joy to all around him. Let's show the respect he deserves then show our appreciation to the joy he has brought the town of Bolton and the football clubs at it's fans all these years.

KEVIN Davies and John Terry will lay a floral tribute in front of the Nat Lofthouse Stand before Monday night’s game against Chelsea.

The two club captains will then lead a minute’s silence at the Reebok, in what will be the first Wanderers game since the passing of the club’s legendary former striker.

Whites fans have been asked to get to their seats 20 minutes before kick-off, when a video tribute to Lofthouse will be played on the big screens.

“I think it’s important that we as a club and Bolton as a town celebrate Nat’s life on Monday night,” Owen Coyle told The Bolton News.

“I hope there will be a great atmosphere, and it would be nice if we could put in a big performance and get a result against Chelsea, recognising they are one of the strongest teams in the Premier League.”
What a tit that John Terry is. Hate the man.
