Time Up For Jussi?
After last night's performance, has Jussi had an operation to swap his wrist bones for jelly?? I think it's now time to drop him and recall Al Habsi. Jussi has been an amazing servant to this club and deserves his place amongst the legends, but there's no place for sentiment in this game.

Re: Time Up For Jussi?
Surely you can't say he's been playing well this season while Al Habsi has been in amazing form for Wigan??

Habsi has played well, definitely - Jussi made two or three class saves last night as well, though.

He was at fault for 2 goals at least.

Agreed, and I don't think he should have been playing. However in the same breath we have a better replacement for both! Ricketts & Al Habsi

Re: Time Up For Jussi?
Yes without doubt - he's a liability and has been for the past 2 seasons IMO
But then again what do I know....
PS...he can take K Davies with him

Re: Time Up For Jussi?
I think the plan is and has been for some time, to sell Al Habsi to Wigan pemanently and use that money for a player / players, and have Bogdan as the next keeper. The fact that Al Habsi is playing well unfortunately means it'll be easier to sell him, so i don't see him coming back, which is a dam shame.

Re: Time Up For Jussi?
WE CAN'T RECALL AL-HABSI WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOW MANY TIMES!!
If we want to have him in our first team, it'll have to be next season

Re: Time Up For Jussi?
I assume one of the two you're blaming him for is the first one. The main culprit was that big donkey Knight who, instead of playing the simple ball back to Robinson decided to run across his own penalty area and then give it to Steinsson who had three men on him.Lofthouse Lower wrote:So was Steinsson

Re: Time Up For Jussi?
He lost the ball after miscontrolling it, which led to DDA scoring that screamer so yeah, I am blaming him as well as Knight - same as I blame the defenders AS WELL as Davo for that one that started with a misplaced pass.Bruno3 wrote:I assume one of the two you're blaming him for is the first one. In fact all of their goals were aided by dogshit defending.

Still didn't have to give it away though!Bruno3 wrote:I assume one of the two you're blaming him for is the first one. LL is right, Steinsson was shockingly bad last night. In fact he was worse than that!!!!!!

As usual, Steinsson's positioning was off all night long - he's a liability.

Re: Time Up For Jussi?
Just didn't make sense to me why he dropped Ricketts for Steinsson?? Maybe Ricketts' mind was on his dogs?

God knows, but there can be no doubt that he'll play against Wolves and Wigan.
You could tell Holden hasn't played for weeks too, his touch was off, which isn't like him.
I think the highlight of the night was Davo whacking that shagger prick Terry after 5mins

Yes, right in front of me that was. Brilliant to see Cole and Terry complain about Davo, when they both dish it out. Tossers

Cole couldn't dish anything out, he's too busy jumping out of the way.

Jussi had no chance with any of the goals last night. FACT.
