He's going to Spurs? (Or Arsenal...is North London in some sort of time space blip, 25 mins behind?)

Tried the google translater and got this:
Wenger indicated that the best option is that the Mexican left in England to continue her career
Is there something we are not being told?

Just briefly caught word on sky sports news that we're supposed to have put in a 'late permanent bid' for Wright-Phillips? I just don't see how we can afford such a move, especially given the wages he's meant to be earning, and whilst Gary Cahill seems to be sticking round at the club until summer we can't use his transfer fee as an option. Also does anyone know what position Vela usually plays for Arsenal? I was under the impression he usually played on the wing but with us already having Petrov, Taylor, Rodgrigo, Lee, potentially Ward back off loan and now these rumours about Wright Philips where or how he'd fit in.

didn't i read somewhere that he is being allowed to leave on a free? unless by "bid" - you mean a bid to SWP about wages and contract length...

Am afraid I cant recall exact the details except that it was definately a permanent deal so as you've said his (inflated) wages and contract length will be a big issue. I jumped to the conlusion we'd have to pay city a nice bit of cash to buy him but if he's allowed to leave on a free then that's one problem fixed :D

SWP would be better than anything we already have by a distance...

Has Ireland gone anywhere yet?

Please.......

You think he's better (by a distance) than both LCY and Taylor?
