Never had any doubts.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Re: January transfer window...
If Elmo went it would have left us with Sturridge, Klasnic and Davo as three main strikers. Unless the very 'reliable' Pavvers to Bolton bets were true and he's on his way?adamworthy2002 wrote:SSN just said Sturridge has joined and Elmander is staying

Even more so than the time we signed Pierre Yves Andre, Salva Ballesta and Flaurent 'The Rock' Laville?jaffka wrote:this has been the most enjoyable transfer window for some years

Apparently dioufy's signed for rangers.
Re: January transfer window...
According to the Agents though if we want to sign a player for the deadline then we have to have him at the medical facility for 8pm. Elmo is going nowhere

Re: January transfer window...
mean it from a wider perspective, lots of speculation and movement
for bolton I suppose quite a conservative window with just 2 signings...

Ah, but the difference between this window and previous ones is that the (2?) signings are most definitely improving on the squad, and we know that already.jaffka wrote:mean it from a wider perspective, lots of speculation and movement

Re: January transfer window...
If we get Ricky Gardener fit, there's another season in him. Sean Davies must also be getting close surely? With both available the squad doesn't look too bad at all to me. Bogdan cover for Jussi, Cover on the both full backs, Wheater covering central defence, a decent choice for midfiled, Lee, Moreno, Taylor and Petrov for the wings and Davies, Elmander, Klasnic and Sturridge up front. Could be a lot worse.jaffka wrote:

Re: January transfer window...
I'd take 6m for Elmander now. I think he's peaked and we'll get nothing for him in six months. 6m buys a lot of striker for Coyle.
Davies, Sturridge, Klasnic, midget from Burnley, Rodrigo. Plenty of firepower. Don't forget Vaz Te is about to break out.

What could've happened; did.
