I think you might find that OC seems to fit the word terrific in quite a lot on his interviews...TKIZ! wrote:Anyone know what number he'll get?

Well they're probably different sizes, so I doubt that'll be happening.

They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.

Re: Sturridge Signs
Does anyone know if Chelsea is paying his wages fully/partially? And was there a loan fee?

is he quick?
Re: Sturridge Signs
Happy with this signing and I think a much safer bet than Velo. Adds another dimension to the side and hopefully we will be able to exploit it.

We're paying £9,000 per week towards his wage which is approx 15%SonsOfThunder wrote:Does anyone know if Chelsea is paying his wages fully/partially? And was there a loan fee?
Re: Sturridge Signs
I'm not doubting you - but when a talented but still bit-part and unproven player earns £60,000 A WEEK - then you know that the football economy has gone mad...Lofthouse Lower wrote:We're paying £9,000 per week towards his wage which is approx 15%SonsOfThunder wrote:Does anyone know if Chelsea is paying his wages fully/partially? Re: Sturridge Signs
Agreed. Didn't TBH go from 8000 per week to 50,000 per week when he left us to sit on a bench at Chelsea? Crazy world football is.thebish wrote:I'm not doubting you - but when a talented but still bit-part and unproven player earns £60,000 A WEEK - then you know that the football economy has gone mad...Lofthouse Lower wrote:We're paying £9,000 per week towards his wage which is approx 15%SonsOfThunder wrote:Does anyone know if Chelsea is paying his wages fully/partially? Re: Sturridge Signs
Started on the right note, for me

“Owen Coyle convinced me right away,” he said. “I didn’t need to hear anything else after about 20 seconds.
“It was easy for me to make a decision to come here, a club that the manager actually wanted me to come to.
“It was said that Chelsea were offering me to go to Liverpool but that wasn’t the case. Chelsea told me from day one that they weren’t letting me go to any top four clubs, or Liverpool for that matter.
