Ohhhhhhh yessss! Not for the first time though - not expecting a win, although you never know. I shall listen to Jerusalem beforehand. That'll sort it.jaffka wrote:wales v england

I never expect to beat the welsh - much less on their patch - however many injuries they have.... even if we're 11pts up with 10mins to go....
they are basically ONLY interested in beating us - they don't actually really care that much about the rest of it... they will put EVERYTHING into this game, we will have to keep our heads.

Great TV night. Exceptional Panorama showing Egyptian struggle for democracy, hopes, fears and bloodshed...
Then BBC 4 (becoming essential channel) with excellent documentary on origins of the English novel from Defoe's optimistic Protestantism to Godwin's angry Anarchism... Then moving documentary about Afghanistan's campaign (and nearly a success) for qualification for the cricket world cup...
Very good...

Cancelled my lovefilm thingy today. Been a tempestuous 5 year relationship, but it had to end sometime.

'Fish in the title = good film' strikes again.
Catfish. Documentary film about a long distance relationship over Facebook that didn't turn out as expected! I made it sound a bit shit but it really is compelling stuff, creepy too. Sad & extraordinary. Brilliant.

Re: What are you watching tonight?
yeah i thought that, you can spot a fake by some of the shots where you think, 'who is supposed to be holding the camera for that one' but there was none of them. but it did all seem to run a bit too smoothly? then i wondered if it was a glossy remake of an original documentary? anyway i dont care, it had me glued.
just had a read up, seem the filmakers are maintaining its real, but there are loads of conspiracy theories too. i dont mind it if it was fake as long as they admit it, its still a great story.
