Should the miricle happen and we beat both Wigan and Fulham away then we deserve a trip to Wembley.

Especially considering the form we are in.

Two away trips that we never seem to do well in.

Alan Green has given Fulham a bye for the next round already.

The media was definitely loving us a few weeks ago, but they seem to be enjoying disrespecting us again.

Much as Green's a cnut, 0 wins, 2 draws and 7 losses in the Prem against Fulham and one AET win in the League Cup at Craven Cottage, in the last 10 years, combined with 2 months pi$$ poor form, would tend to suggest that he's probably got a point.

Wigan have only won 1 at Craven Cottage too out of 6 goes.

Couldve been United or Chelski though so ya know. At least we can have some vague hope...? :? If we do get down to The Cottage, I think we have to win first time. We can't afford two legs.

If we're gonna beat Fulham I'd imagine it's by getting them back here. I've got a feeling in my waters we'll beat Wigan, mainly coz they're first team is shite and they'll rest them. Then we'll lose at Fulham. Eh dear.

Well I thought that was pretty poor - papers calling it a 'thriller' - maybe it was just my miserable mood on Saturday aft that led me down that path.

Most players were average - front two were dismal. Liked Wheater on a no-nonsense sort of level. Hmm. Squad surgery required.

It was pretty diabolical! Annoyed me when OC came out and said he got the response he was looking for from the players after the Chelsea game. He must be taking "positive" lessons from Sammy Lee.

Given that we haven't had anything related to football match reports on the front page for some time, I'd really like a match report for Wigan, thanks.

I'd like to do it, but I fear I'd fall into a coma if I think about it again. I'll do a Wolves preview or review though.

IF Wanderers beat Wigan Athletic in their FA Cup fourth-round replay at the DW Stadium on Wednesday, February 16 (kick off 7.45pm), they will play their fifth-round tie at Fulham on Sunday, February 20, kick-off 3pm.
