Boltons Pre match music.

Post by Wild Gerk » Sun Feb 13, 2011 10:13 pm

Personally i would love to see the club playing some new pre match music as i think it would be great for the atmosphere inside the reebok stadium and will give the players a huge boost. Please discuss which songs you would choose if given the choice. i have uploaded some of my favourites.

I walk to the ground listening to Muse, and I'd love to hear us coming out to something like that. A Knights of Cydonia "no-one's gonna take me alive" or Butterflies and Hurricane "best! you've got to be the best, you've got to change the world and use this chance to be heard"... belting stuff.

But yeah, massively bored of current pre-match music

I was sat reading the programme in my seat prior to the Wolves game the other week and was blown away by one song in particular. Gil Scott Heron - The Bottle. An incredible song by an all-time great. I couldn't believe it!

More of that please and louder next time!

If we get into Europe, they should play summer holiday by Cliff and the Shadows, alternatively, for a bad defeat, they could leave the pitch to you f*cked up, by Ween.

That is a good tune. I haven't got his first album but I'm very familiar with Pieces of a Man, Free Will and Winter in America.

I've got the Black Wax DVD and it's marvellous - the live performances with cuts to his poetry whilst walking the streets, brilliant!

Imagine my surprise at hearing some GSH at the Reebok prior to kick off!

Well, there really is only one tune.

You can have it traditional.

You can have it predictable.

Or you can have it raunchy!

Raunchy does it for me. :oyea:

Internet search has provided me with no video, but they should play the song they released around 1997/98. The one that went -

"We're the Wanderers, IT'S A ONE WAY ATTITUDE."

That was class. I remember that - didn't they have an Indian lead singer dancing with Lofty on the video? Post a link, man.
