So it took four months to complete the investigation. I'd love to know how over 100 days were spent.

Without any explanation as to why the charges were dropped? Such a statement hardly helps the the accused even though until any further proceedings are brought (if ever) he is effectively under a 'cloud' as regards his person and his reputation. Has the complainant been shown to have been dishonest? Is there no evidence to support the claim? Are there circumstances sufficient to wonder but others sufficient to doubt?

Footballer, high-profile personage or simple man-in-the-street I find such wishy-washy statements abhorrent. If I were Klasnic I'd be fuming.

Has the case against his mates been dropped? Thought it was allegedly them, but at his gaffe? Anyway, weight off shoulders, two goals in a week. Ivan is back.

The mere fact that Owen Coyle has commented on the "case" and the words he has chosen speak wonders.

I suspect that the "retrospective" accusation also provides a clue as to what happened here.
