Rivi Hall Barn
Anyone know of any hotels near Rivi Hall Barn, that have 24 hour night porter on?
Got a wedding to attend in April with some mates and the 24 hour bar seems to be a minimum requirement.

I don't know if you've been before, Worthy, but Rivi Barn's right out on a limb. You're probably as well trying the De Vere Whites, one of you driving up to the do, dumping the car there, taxi-ing back etc. etc.

Cheers Brucie. Haven't been there before, but I did say to 'em last night, that DVW was probably the nearest hotel with any chance of 24 hr bar.

Were it only the lads going, we possibly would. Chances of getting the girlies to go for that approach, I believe is negligible.jaffka wrote:or sleep in tents and have a load of tinnies with you

he's right about that the closest is the whites with late bar i know there are 2 prem inns but the bar shuts about 12-1 in them plus you can normaly pick the whites rooms up for £39Bruce Rioja wrote:I don't know if you've been before, Worthy, but Rivi Barn's right out on a limb. Thing is about the barn I could never understand why they haven't worked rooms into it, I mean its a fookin' big house next door like.

You after somewhere you can come back to 24/7 or drink at 24/7?

i was best man at my mates wedding there and we stayed at the De Vere, mainly because of the late bar facility... that none of us ended up using!

I was going to say, if you've been at a wedding for 13 or 14 hours, normally theres little need for a late bar. You'd be amazed at how many people request and then never use it because they're too twatted. Depends what the early drinking is up to usually.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

I can only surmise, you don't know the same people I do very well.
They were still going strong at 05:00 in the morning at the last one...
