PS
He is currently stranded on 399 games in all competitions for the club.
Not bad for someone who spent about five years injured

Makes you wonder how may appearances he would have made if he had been fit for the majority of the time. Hope he at least makes one more so he can reach 400.

He arrived a few months after Jussi, who I recall has played 100 games (or so) more. So its really not a bad record all-in-all for an outfield player.

Decent servant, but I very much doubt we'll see him playing for us again. Unless he gets a testimonial. Another decent youngster signed by Todd.

I thought he'd retired to smoke lots of green and make dodgy music.

Agree, it's a good move for Ricky, and it can only be a good move for Preston. It might not be enough to keep them up, but he should light the place up, and Browny knows what he can do, he must be ecstatic at getting Gardner for a month.

I think he'll stay - pacy, half decent on the ball, got a trick, can go round a man (the only one of our LM's that can), he seems like Coyle's type of player. And I asked Gardner about a testimonial myself at the beginning of the season at a shirt signing, and he said that he's getting one this summer. So we will at least get to send him off, but I can't see us getting shot then allowing him a testimonial before he scarpers. I reckon he might finish his career here, whenever that might be.

Excellent. Given he plays LB too, the quicker he gets fit, the better for us.

Good luck to him. My fave player for style and character. And rap ability.
I'd rather support Bolton than be you.

For me he's right up there in rap ability with Vanilla Ice.

Rather fortuitous for Gardner to go straight into the team thanks to an injury.

I'm a little sad to see him go out on loan. His record of being pretty much a one club player seems a little spoilt here but hopefully this'll do him the world of good and we'll get him back to fitness and back around the squad.

Only gone for a month. Get match fit and come back to get appearance 400 hopefully.
