Re: Wanderers vs The Villa
I just can't see a situation in which the chance to possibly listen to some music after a goal makes people say, "You know what, I will pay that £25 and go to the Reebok today."
The match day experience is about as family friendly as it's conceivable to be in every other respect isn't it?
I wouldn't stop going because of it, but I can't be alone in being annoyed and embarassed by it.

Re: Wanderers vs The Villa
Not the best qualified to comment as I'm not a regular these day, but the music or lack of it's never really bothered me. I like the intro 633 Squadron, the rest is immaterial, it ain't a music festival. Also note the drummers have been moved forward which must be off-putting for the keepers, even Jussi everytime he takes a goalkick, although I've sat near them and they do add to the atmosphere at times.
Si Deus pro nobis, quis contra nos?

Equally though, is anyone going "Well I would go to the Reebok today, but I fear they might play Depeche Mode if we score a goal"?Athers wrote:I just can't see a situation in which the chance to possibly listen to some music after a goal makes people say, "You know what, I will pay that £25 and go to the Reebok today."

It's just another attempt to get us 'a song'. I'm sure it'll fail, but it's fairly inconsequential.

Should be so automatic, it shouldn't even need to be mentioned.TKIZ! wrote:I agree. That and 'Walking in McGinlay wonderland' tooLord Kangana wrote:Every BWFC supporting child should be taught to recite "Stevie Bull's a w*nker" by heart, or face the cane.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

I always feel racist and want to include our other coloured players. Can't make it scan though. Sadface.

surely, "Who's sh1t? Bull's sh1t" is better?Lord Kangana wrote:Every BWFC supporting child should be taught to recite "Stevie Bull's a w*nker" by heart, or face the cane.

Short and to the point.
Incidentally, can someone remind me how many top-flight goals Steve Bull scored? Must have been loads, right? I always forget.

Yes, but that always followed "Stevie bull's a w*nker".
