Pretty empty to our left - looked like the shite stand. Plenty of empty seats to our right...

And looked very, very empty in time-added-on...

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Thanks yourselves, takes two to make a great match and your lot were never out of it.

Thanks, Stan. It was a great game of football and the fans were the winners for seeing it. To be honest, my heart wanted you to win the Carling Cup while my head wanted Arsenal because it makes qualifying for Europe much easier. You'll have a lot of fun next year on a European tour. Hopefully we may join you.

Just watching the full replay on ESPN and it's amazing how emotion really clouds your judgement.

The only item I have seen so far that phil dowd got wrong was the handball on Davo when he was clearly pushed in the back. The Jussi incident where Jerome went over was spot on. The Cahill arm when they handballed it, correct. Davo penno, spot on.

Yesterday I thought he was a bag of shite which I now appologise for.

Just thought I'd mention. Who was it who kept it at 1-1 with a save on the line? CYL. Just had a chuckle at the Brum fans shouting "Who?" when he came on. Irony! you cruel, cruel bitch you!

Thanks Mr Drews. You've given your fans a good name on here unlike two seasons worth of Mackems coming along giving us jip.

You're injury hit team did you proud yesterday, I'm sure you'll survive with spirit like that.

And you're giving our very own William the White a run for his money with your prose.

Early kick offs are bad for your health. I can just about remember summat about a footy match.

The comedown from a 1/4 final is immense. Although the other half is moping about due to the Arsenal result. I had to check myself jumping round the house last night because of it :)

Great post Stan and a credit to you and good sportmanship. I think we'd all rather see Brum stay up than Wigan, Wolves, West Ham etc, so get in there and fight on. We do know what it's like. Best of and hopefuly we'll be playing you next season and thanks fo your sentiments.
