I thought the rule was players Jussi had played with?

Also, Laville, Candela and Hierro played less than 30 good games between 'em

I'd maybe have a couple of differences based on a lot of years, but it'll take some serious thinking about. What would yours be based on players you've watched in a Whites shirt?
We're not talking about how many appearances Caps, but who you pick from players you've seen (see original post). I agree about the short number of games, but I'd still have them. It's all fantasy anyway. :)

Candela was fantastic for his cameo. I really wish we could have hung on to him, but having Ricky (an already good quality fullback) and being a club without limitless resources, I don't think Sam was allowed the finance for it.

It was money, wasn't it, the reason he didn't stay?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

It was the way I understood it but don't remember the politics involved. Caps?

Didn't Candela say he didn't want to live in England

Did his wife not have a child while he was with us and they wanted to live wherever they were based

Surprised he's not put Gardner in after 13 years of being team mates!

some website out there wrote:The former Roma player also spoke on the English Premier League being a low point in his career.

“I got out of Bolton quick,” he said. “The weather and English football were not for me. The forwards used to tackle me, a defender. I did not understand.”

Don't remember that I'll admit, but he's off the list then. Ricky G in.

I'd do it since I've been watching, but I'm not sure anyone from the couple of years pre-Jussi would make it in on ability.

-----------------Jussi-------------------
-N'Gotty----Gudni-----Cahill-----Gardner-
------Okocha---Nolan---Campo----------
---Davies------------------------Youri---

Not even Steve McAnespie or Wayne Burnett?

Correct answer!
Shouts for Stelios instead of Davies I think. Eidur unlucky not to be in as well.

Stelios would get on and score from the bench, as would Ricketts.

I think Davies isn't playing great by any means this season (his goal and assist yesterday covered over the fact that his participation, or lack of, in some of our moves made it look as though he was trying to play a different sport), but I can't deny him a place in my team. For a man who was seemingly destined to be forever mentioned alongside words like 'Francis Jeffers' to turn up and play as big a part as he has for us is unbelievable.

I'd have no problem with anyone picking Eidur, but he'd also be on the bench for me. That he never played for us in the Premier League counts against him considering the rest starred in some of our greatest ever seasons.
