STOKIE IN PEACE

Post by paulinespens » Tue Mar 15, 2011 9:56 pm

just been on our very own OATCAKE and suggested that we all take a bottle of the bubble stuff and all blow bubbles at kick off to take the piss out of west ham.
then another poster said we should just sing "landans a shit ole, i wanna go home" and would be good if bolton joined in.with us(stoke) being the most southerly team left and your lot it would sound fecking great on the tele.

make them southern softies either sit up and listen or put their face in a bowl of jellied eels.any other suggestions to pull them shandy drinking gimps down to earth please post on the oatcake.
personally me and prob most of the stoke supporters have nowt against bolton,a good ard working team that never gets any credit for playing it about now and then.

all the best for april 16th/17th (stoke win though). love and peace!

I like the Londons a shithole idea.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I'm sure plenty will join in with that, though as a song its being slated elsewhere on here. Check out General Football for our opinion on West Ham!

I just hope its all good friendly banter between both sides. Its been a great achievement by both, we, of all teams, should at least respect how Stoke go about their game and wind the big boys up......even if we might not like it. We are undoubtedly your blueprint.

As fans you lot on the oatcake (I've had a peek this week) seem like a good sort. See you on the 16/17th.

officer-dibble

i honestly think that there will be nowt but prpoer football banter that weekend between us,2 great clubs with great traditions behind us who play very similar and who are aware of what the rest of the country thinks of us(rugby HAHahah).
i just hope we can show them numpties that "futbull up north" is proper football.

i myself will happily by any of your lot a drink on the train down there and have a chat(limited to 1 pint and first come first served basis) and thats not one pint each either!!!!!!!!! just the first to ask me

Got a good mate who's a Stokie - before the meek surrender at the Britannia this season, we met him and his Stoke-crazy mates in their local in Longton, couple of beers, lot of piss take, good swapping of football memories, then out comes chicken curries from the pub kitchen (with rice and chips! Don't know if this is a local delicacy) - on them. They'd had a whip round to feed the Bolton fans. Then into taxis (on them again) down to the ground. Good folks.

I didn't tell em about my view of their Neanderthal element at the Reebok this season...

I personally, though not sure where you guys would consider your geography, would enjoy a sarcastic round of "you dirty northern bastards" - after a passing move which ends in a bicycle kick

pauline, he looks very much like Paul Warhurst .... only less injured !
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".
