The ones who cotton on to things fairly quickly?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Actually he seems to be doing far worse there than he was here. Poor Owls are becoming more suicidal than KUMB denizens. I am trying (unsuccessfully) to suppress bouts of schadenfreude.

It's the fans who are advocating letting GM work his magic for a full season and expecting a different outcome that I feel sorry for.
I was one of those once.

Re: Megson Watch
After the 1-4 home humping by Peterborough the Ginger Mourinho said to BBC Radio Sheffield:
"Of course we're disappointed but it's deeper than that, it's anger. They need to wake up and smell the roses a little bit because in terms of performance that's not acceptable at Sheffield Wednesday and I doubt very much whether it's acceptable as a profession."
(On Mark Beevers who suffered a damaged cheekbone in the game) "He has a problem with his cheekbone and at the moment it's not good news so we've got a huge issue now because we've only got three centre halves, one of them is injured and the other (Reda Johnson) is shooting off to play for Benin in a 'Mickey Mouse' cup."
Still nowt to do with you then Gary? Not even playing 4-5-1 at home? Okey Dokey.

Re: Megson Watch
Still nothing about Bolton? How disappointing. Guess he is too occupied building up the confidence of his players by slagging them off and the cups they play in.
Maybe Sir Nut needs to drop into the site again the keep the spirits of the fans as well up letting them know how much better off they are than Bolton and the tactically naive Coyle.

Re: Megson Watch
Oh my God!!!!!
"Megson is not a bad manager; he has had good success on a regular basis elsewhere. He is struggling at the moment - there's no doubt about that but, he is not a bad manager.
Give him time. We have changed our manager many times over the last 15 years and look where that has got us".
What is BWFCi doing on there???

Re: Megson Watch
One more loss and they will start going ballistic.
Re: Megson Watch
I noticed on The Football League Show last night in his post-match interview he was singling out an individual player and heaping a lot of the blame on him for a goal they gave away.
Some of the stuff on Owlstalk makes for ugly reading, a lot of the threads and tone of the posts reminds me a lot of what could be seen in these parts a couple of years ago. What a divisive character Megson is
