There was way more than that in Madrid. We were given more tickets when we sold our initial allocation and loads turned up without tickets and were allowed into the main section. I'd say there were at least 4,000 there.

Munich still probably up there with greatest days ever. It very likely is.

Madrid, the daytime I had such a great time. Sat on that square, Bolton fans emptying the offy's of everything, including Sangria and singing "who are you?" at the guy in the apartment who came out for a cig. But those bastard police, and several close calls after the game but the spoilers on it. Don't reckon I'll take the missus to one again, get too protective like.

Madrid and Munich were both very good.

But Lisbon blows them both away for atmosphere and fun. My mates got a video somewhere of the whole Wanderers crowd singing WATOAOW for about 10 full mins, all with twirling, matching (free!) scarves.

And the locals were much friendlier than the other two an all. Its just a pitty the ginger assassin didn't read the script to cap it off.
