FA Cup Semi Final - Wembley

Re: FA Cup Semi Final - Wembley
Coz they have to sell them all. Two per season ticket holder and all sold out is better for the club than one and 2000 left. Everyone will get one for this anyway. Or nearly everyone. IF we get to the final it will be one.

Re: FA Cup Semi Final - Wembley
If we say we have 12,500 season ticket holders. At home matches, we average this season at 23k attendance. Say it's 3000-5000 average away fans, that means that we have 18,000 home fans at most home matches. That's just about 5000 fans who don't have season tickets at a home match.
12,500 doubled is 25k. Add on the 5000 others, and we've still got nearly 2000 tickets spare. I'd say that, logically, this is the only feasible thing the club could do to maximise attendance.

Because STH pay up front come wins or losesjmjhb wrote:Yeah, I fail to see why every season ticket holder gets to buy two tickets each before everyone else. Surely one would be the happy medium?
They don't get money back if they don't fancy making the effort 'cos it's on the box'
Buy a season ticket or don't, but don't come crying when the most loyal customers get a kick back and the peasants have to join the queue

Re: FA Cup Semi Final - Wembley
Buy a season ticket or not isn't a great suggestion.
I'm too far away, otherwise I would. I still regard myself as a big fan and a relatively loyal customer. Four years back, I had three consecutive STs.

It's your choice not to have one, dress it up all you like
If I lived in Bristol, it's a choice I'd make, too, as it happens
And then I'd have to take my chances on open sale after STH - y'know, the ones who see dirt chap tickets being offered for the West Ham game

Wasn't there a similar problem for the Carling Cup final?

Re: FA Cup Semi Final - Wembley
The 'problem' was that there weren't enough tickets to give every STH 2 tickets - 18k x 2 being 36 when we only had 30/32 to sell
This time, cos we've lost STH's there are

I won't care what the say on tv commentary as I expect to be there and not have to listen to their carp.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Ah yes, I remember now. Of course, not every ST holder will take the 2 tickets each, so there should a few thousand spare.
I'll stop moaning now

Put me in for one ticket should I fail by other means, missed out last time, no intention of letting it happen again.

No, you won't care because you live within farting distance of the place.Gary the Enfield wrote:CrazyHorse wrote:I'm really angry about the 4pm Sunday afternoon kick off time. Me, I've got to hope the mother in law will baby-sit my kids all day 'til like midnight on a Sunday otherwise this horse will be sat listening to the wise cracking commentary team slagging me off for not going when it's their frigging fault in the first place. Bastard ITV scum.
If you listen carefully, you can just about hear the lone violin playing softly in the distance.

I'll offer Pirate's +10%.Il Pirate wrote:I know this might sound a little selfish, but I don't fancy my chances waiting for tickets on general sale. If any ST holders manage to have one, possibly two tickets they need to be rid of, would you please bear me in mind.

Seriously, anyone contemplating buying one when they might be able to get two, please gimmie a shout...

Well, as long as we're all doing it... +10% and a pint or two for one ticket here.Worthy4England wrote:I'll offer Pirate's +10%.Il Pirate wrote:I know this might sound a little selfish, but I don't fancy my chances waiting for tickets on general sale. 1) If you normally sit in West - a bag of Werthers
2) If you normally sit in North - Some anti-drum ear plugs
3) If you normally sit in East - A nice new bedsheet, some crayons and a dictionary
4) If you normally sit in South - I'll rendition you with Delilah...

I think charging more than face value can be seen to be touting. So I'm not sure it should be done publicly like.
But same goes, if anyone's got spare capacity on their ST...

I was assuming Pirate was offering a tenner, to save some poor bugger getting lumbered with spares. +10% and a bag of Werthers, and we'd still be under the face value...Lord Kangana wrote:I think charging more than face value can be seen to be touting. Will be a good idea as has been mentioned, if we progress further start a thread to see if fellow whites can can help out other members getting tickets. Not every one who signs up just for the thread, but the old school members who have contributed to the site. i.e. me
Im sure between us, we can sort something out
