Looking for a football fan friendly pub close to Wembley?
Hi there Bolton fans!
Coming down to Wembley for the semi final on 7th April?
As a football fan I know one of the major headaches when travelling to Wembley is trying to find somewhere decent to go out before and after the match, somewhere that welcomes football fans and somewhere where you’re not going to get ripped off on drinks prices, parking etc etc.
Let me introduce myself. I’m Chris and I run a bar in Harrow called Trinity. We are a family friendly, football fan friendly bar/pub/music venue. We are 5 minutes from Wembley Park station on the Metropolitan Line underground from Harrow on the Hill.
For many years now we have actively encouraged football fans travelling to Wembley to pay us a visit. We have big screen sports before and after the game, can do food and of course a few pre/post match beers (and not in a plastic cup!).
As I said we are only 5 minutes from Wembley on the underground (15 minutes if you’re driving). In Harrow there is plenty of parking at reasonable rates (at the Stadium it costs £27.25 for a car or £63.50 for a bus!). A return ticket on the Underground is only £3.
We are 5 minutes from the station. If you let us know you are coming we can pre book tables and even provide free parking for small coaches or mini buses. We are also close to Harrow and Wealdstone British rail station. If you are coming down from the north most trains stop here.
We like to encourage family groups, so if you’ve got the kids with you, you are most welcome and will know that you have a safe environment for them to be in.
And if you’re down for the weekend why not check out our entertainment. We are licensed until 3am and always have an array of live music, DJs, Comedy and Quiz Nights. There are plenty of cheap hotels in Harrow if you are staying over.
If you’d like more info visit our website at http://www.trinity-bar.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or drop me an email [email protected] or you can phone us on 0208 424 9888. And naturally you can find us on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. You can find a printable map of our location on our website. We are open 11am – 3am.

Do you serve Mild? and Pale Ale?
Re: Looking for a football fan friendly pub close to Wembley
My dad tells a story about going to Middlesbrough once, back in the 70s or 80s, and it being a tin hats job. Them not wearing colours, and being northern managing to keep their accent vague enough not to get into much bother until they wandered into this proper rough, Middlesbrough pub. Thinking well, we can't really back down now, they casually as poss strolled up to the bar. The first three, my dad included all ordered bitter, no problem, and then the fourth and final asked if he couldn't possibly have a pint of mild. Apparently a marked hush fell over the pub, before the barman quietly growled, "He don't serve mild up here, son", and a very, very quick exit, as they somehow made it to the door and out.
My dad likes to over-dramatise.

That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

But he may not be on this occasion. I remember 'boro, I think it was boxing day '78?. Even the 'stewards' inside the ground were kicking the s**t out of us!

Park at a nearby-ish tube station for cheaper and get the tube in. Sorted.

I've done Harrow on the Hill before. Its a decent way of avoiding Wembley. Though you still face the prospect of an hours wait at the Underground after the game.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
