Caught the second half. Very, very impressed with Huddersfield - they really did get it down and play some lovely passing stuff. It helped, of course, that Paul Ince's Nott's County side gave possibly the most inept defensive performance that I've ever seen, but yeah, if Huddersfield want anymore of our youngsters on loan then I for one am well up for it.t_o_molloy wrote:Huddersfield Town v Notts County

Really? Then I most certainly did miss it because I forgot to add that he was quiet in the half that I saw. Maybe they'd shackled him then.t_o_molloy wrote:Ah, you missed it.Bruce Rioja wrote:Caught the second half. He completely ran the show in the 1st half.
But in the first his crossing was superb, he was intercepting balls all over the place and had a good shot himself.
Their fans seem impressed by him though:

I've said before I've watched the lad a lot and I think he's got 'it'. Swindon fans rave about him. Reckon he was better than Milner when he went there.

Gardner didn't play tonight through injury and his loan spell has now finished.
Re: Loan Watch 2010/11
Danny Ward scored a decent goal against League One champions Brighton this weekend. This was the last goal in the last game at the Withdean Stadium.

Huddersfield are level on points with second placed Southampton who have a game in hand.

Danny Ward grabbed another 2 goals for Huddersfield yesterday in a 4-4 draw with Brentford. The Terriers are now in the play-offs against Bournemouth on 14th and 18th May.

3 goals in 7 appearances for Huddersfield.
Re: Loan Watch 2010/11
He also created another goal and the other was a rebound of his shot too.

Re: Loan Watch 2010/11
The first was a cracker and he had a hand in the other two. He is getting some good experience on loan and will hopefully make a similar impact when ready for our first team.Riviman wrote:Danny's 2 goals :

Aye well if he's not considered "ready" next season we may as well cut our losses.malcd1 wrote:The first was a cracker and he had a hand in the other two. Exactly the same things were said after his spell at Swindon. Looks promising etc.
I may be wrong but hasn't he mainly been on the bench for Huddersfield? Hardly suggests he's about to break into a premiership side does it?

Danny is also making an impact with the fans if this is anything to go by.

There is a big discussion on who should partner Ward in the team.
