Megson Watch

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Oh my giddy aunt
ok then lets swap you av megson we have coyle would ya eh..

DEAL, Ill tell you what to make the deal even better you take the Whining Petrov, Bambi on ice Alonso, 35 year old Robbie Blake, Tom Eaves who scored a hat trick against us in a friendly (so we signed him) for Oldham and we havnt seen him since, David Wheater who gets caught out of position all the time, Rodrigo who is kept out by Taylor and he can take his lover boy Kevin Davies with him aswel. In return We get Megson, keep Elmander, Mark Davies, Cahill, Knight, Lee, Robbo, Ricketts, Muamba and Klasnic and we let him finish off what he built at our club. Youll soon get bored of Coyles post match interviews of moaning about refs and saying the same crap, we can take positives out of that. Great Motivator, Awful Tactician and bad eye for players.

Perhaps that's because he's been busy scoring 10 goals in 13 games for the reserves...

I changed your type LL.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

It's been a lively start at Hillsborough, where Sheff Wed are looking for a first league win at home since 11 December. They're clearly not looking very hard because Brentford are 2-1 up after 18 minutes in the only League One tie to have experienced any goals. Both L2 games are off the mark: Lincoln are winning at Port Vale and Shrewsbury ahead at Rotherham.

I'm particularly enjoying this thread:

I'm guessing Potter is their equivalent of McCann or JOB.

I hope to god this Leopard doesn't change his spots, so the football world will at last see Gary Megson for the charlatan he is.

I was reading through their matchday thread to savour the unbridled optimism before the game followed by the painful crash to earth, but the whole site crashed before I got to the painful bit. I do feel sorry for them but can't help getting a chuckle.

Well, to be fair, Sir Nut did build GM up to the point where they believed if they were patient great things would happen. They had great expectations which seem to have collapsed. Now I guess it would be a closely run thing whether they would lynch GM or Sir Nut first.
