Re: where are you
Bloody hell, we barely get 20K bolton fans for home games most of the time. Not sure why you're moaning about having fewer gloryhunters than we might expect!
Re: where are you
Only fans of shit teams worry about the cock measuring contest that is 'We've got more fans than you'.

Re: where are you
Indeed.
I'm going. My mates are going (apart from one who's working). My dad is going.
Really couldn't give a fook if we're the only ones there to be quite frank, we'll still enjoy it.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Re: where are you
Yeah you un-loyal bastards, why can't you all afford to pay £150+ per person?
I'm tempted to lock this thread, I'm sick of hearing people criticizing others for not going to games. People have their reasons, if they would go then they would.

Re: where are you
I say lock it, not much can come of it. Poor Delia.
Re: where are you
It's bad enough i can't make the semi; what i don't need on top of that is some douchebag having a go at me for it.

Open sale is tomorrow, I'm waiting for then seeing as I'm not a STH.
The website says more than 2/3 sold already. As long as there are 2 for me I'll be happy!

Re: where are you
End of the day, the club could have banged open the doors and said to the town - "this is your cup run, come and join us at Wembley" and tried to win some people over.
They've not done, fearing another Cardiff backlash so it's gonna be as pointed out the usual 20,000 heading down with few extra.
There's still time to try and ignite the juices. I'd welcome it.
Only folk that irk a little bit would be like the one Bruce pointed out who won't go to the semi, but might try and get a final ticket if we made it! Everyone else, welcome to make their choice.

Eh? I don't get that. What exactly have the club not done that they could to accomodate folk?hisroyalgingerness wrote:End of the day, the club could have banged open the doors and said to the town - "this is your cup run, come and join us at Wembley" and tried to win some people over.

They've sold 2 per ST holder to allow larger groups to sit together (would have been easy to do 1 per ST holder after the Carling Cup final!). They've sold them online and over the phone making it easier for fans to buy tickets. And they've advertised selling arrangements widely and as soon as the FA let them.
What do you want? Gartside knocking on doors handing out tickets?

S'alright i think feelings run high when one of our own, the OP, basically decides to call us all bad fans!
Actually nice really to see that we rally more around the club's reputation than that of our own as individual supporters

Re: where are you
Not sure we're going to have too many tickets lweft, but it's not surprising that some are choosing not to go to a game a 400 mile round trip away to watch us in a game that might immediately lead to another 400 mile round trip.
And it is a game that is on television.
Also, not all regular attendees have season tickets. My dad, a senior citizen, pays on the gate week in week out, because he know there will be 2 games that he can't go to each season for reacan attend.
Needless to say he'll be going to Wembley, as a week-in week-out fan, but he hasn't purchased his ticket yet.
