If you mean because we've not got much else by way of options then perhaps.

If you mean because you think he'd be GOOD at it then there's no hope for us all

Could Matt Taylor really do the work we need of a central midfield player in our system? Not sure he has the pace or the engine!

Exactly. He doesn't have the attributes needed, ie-drive, skill, workrate, right foot or tackling ability!

Personally feel CYL or Johan in CM with the other playing rm something like this is our strongest most creative lineup at the moment!

Sturridge - Davies
------elmander-
Petrov - Muamba - CYL

Robbo - wheater - cahill - steinner

obvious ommition of klasnic but with sturridge's form infront of goal and ivan's inability to finish 90 mins the only reasons

hoping knight makes a good strong comeback^

I reckon best bit of creativity yesterday was the defence splitting pass from Fab that put Sturridge through. Problem solved

It's a puzzler.

These guys are all starters:

GK: Jussi
RB: Steinsson
CB: Cahill
CB: Kneater
LB: Robbo
CM: Muamba
RM: Lee
LM: Petrov
FW: SKD
??: Elmo

The question is where to play Elmo and based on that who comes in at WM, CM or FW. I rule out putting him RM and playing Chungy central - Chungy can probably play better there than Elmo, but he gives us much better balance on the right.

I solve this by going:

-----------Moo
Lee-----Elmo---Petrov-----Garder
------------SKD

but it's a bit iffy.

Yeah, any clubs looking to fill a managerial spot? I've got to finish Uni but after that...

Can't really see Ricky G figuring, certainly not starting. This'll be a blood and thunder match no doubt, and midfield could well be the key to it all. Everything to do with selection hinges on Mark Davies being available. If he isn't Elmo looks the best bet with Klasnic starting with Davo. A tricky guy with the ball will have a big clogging defence very wary of giving away free kicks and there's always Moreno and Blake available should he not last the pace. Also Taylor could drop in midfield and let Elmo go forward. If MD is fit then the problem lessens. If the spirit's there we'll do it.
