Magic wand.
Just to ease the nerves a bit: If you could bring one ex Bolton player back (in their prime of course) into the current side, who would it be? Mine won't be the most popular I know, but it would be Ivan Campo. Life was always so much fun with him around.

Vincent Candela or Neil Cox.
It has been SO long since we had a capable full-back, so I'd pick either.

Can I not have Holden? Please.

Doing it properly, and given where we are weakest, and also that TD says in their prime, and in his prime four or five months for us he was the best player on the planet, Jay Jay. Every time. Jay Jay and Moo would be nice right now.

Gotta agree with Ivan Campo. Imagine, if you will, a midfield two of Campo and Holden. Or for now, Campo and Mark Davies.

As much as I once thought I would say Jared Borgetti here goes...
Gerry Taggart for his attempts to get the crowd going.
Henrik Pedersen for his arm waving celebration.

Re: Magic wand.
As PhysioRoom is now claiming Mark Davies isn't due back until the 24th I'd lean towards Peter Reid.
Re: Magic wand.
It would definitely be Jay Jay!
I'd be tempted to choose him at any point, but if it was for the next game then there would be nobody better.

Re: Magic wand.
Just to stir the pot a little:
Keep in mind your choice would obviously negate a player whose place he took and he'd have to fit in with the team. I didn't go for the obvious Nat, for instance because he just wouldn't fit in the side. He wasn't a ball player as such, he was five-feet nine tall and a lot of his game relied on wingers' crosses and getting a decent run at goal. He'd also get less free kicks than even KD, because his robust style would upset the refs. Okay, carry on...

Re: Magic wand.
David Jack scored the first FA cup final goal ever at Wembley. Nat scored twice the last time we were in an FA Cup final. They were both the preeminent scorers of their generation and clearly loved Wembley's big stage. Neither was a choker on big occasions. Who will we play along side SKD? Elmo or Klasnic - I'd replace either with Nat or Jack. With Lee/Petrov sending the crosses in and/or SKD flicking it, I think they would score well.TANGODANCER wrote:Just to stir the pot a little:
