Wales does have trains, doesn't it?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Indeed, but why would many folk be travelling across Wales?

The url says Saturday, because they (BTP) announced the United/City details first. But the text mentions Sunday, because we just updated the story.
Dry Trains on Sunday 17 April 2011. Intoxicating liquor (alcohol) cannot be bought, carried or consumed on the following services:

* All trains between Manchester Piccadilly and London Euston between 5.15am and 12.00pm. This also applies to all return journeys between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly from 8.30pm.
* In addition, supporters are also reminded that drinking from or carrying of open containers of alcohol on the London Underground Network is banned.
I'll have to amend that opening para, though, and the one after the bullet points, cos those mention Saturday but not Sunday. Cheers for the spot.

So if you've got a screw cap, you're laughing?

This only states trains from Manchester -> London. Does this mean on trains from Wigan/Preston you'll be alright?
